I'm 90% sure that Amarr have three eyes. Two "bug eyes" as you say and one on the forehead.

Well, Gallente has 2 eyes, and 2 visual enhancers. Caldari has a camera in the center of the faceplate. Amarr has 2 eyes and one decorative one, and WInmatar is missing a eye always, because the struggle is real. |

We Minmatar have 2 eyes. Unfortunately Glaucoma and Cataracts run rampant in the Minmatar gene pool, and only effect the right eye. |
