The key element to your games success is based on squad play and we've acknowledged it's busted badly. I have a request for all those who played so hard for so long... Don't give up! I ask you all to try and make this the best you can. We are helping CCP through our complaints and everyone who posts everyone who plays has hopes and dreams of the game. We can beat this progammers and players... Nobody wants to play the game the way it is. I have seen many people enjoy different aspects of the game today such as new maps and better graphics. BUT i have never seen so many dedicated players not on for a period of time before.
I promise! I will not let my friends suffer because of all the work and money I have seen them invest on what should and I hope will be the game of the century.
My plan is to boycott the stupid. Obviously we are gonna see this game go away without players support and I am watching it fade every single match. I pledge that I will not run with anything other than my standard gear and I will raise those who need help.
New people have more of an advantage playing the old because they are used to playing aimbot COD. Aimbot has to go! So much pride and real give a **** came from the excitment of aiming better than the next guy. I have had friends yawn at this game and now it is repetitive. I am doing the best I can from my point of view to keep things alive and people who care here.
Planetary conquest doesn't matter the war going on doesn't matter!
Band together as a community and don't ask what this game can do for you but ask what can you do for this game!
Please come together and not be so harsh. This game is on the verge of death and I can't stop it alone I need Ideas and a new alliance for the time being! Team Players, Ahrendee, Ancient Exiles, WTF, Subbreddit and so many many more families please help!
This is the only time a world of war should bind together because not just your world's but the whole universe of Dust is on the brink of meltdown.
Because of a failure to test... It's not our fault they can't do whats best for the game when we aren't doing the best for each other either... Troll me if you want but there's not one of you who doesn't cleary see what I have said happening to people that you care if they log on or not. Don't let your friends down because you failed to act.
Maybe a gesture of peace is the ultimate experiment and achievement even if for a moment to save us all is what dust needs.
Thanks to all who read. |

I just think it takes a big man to fight but an even bigger man to walk away. And we as a community are FAILING our would be future. There's really not enough support yet but we have to come together or 1.4 is gonna be the nail in the coffin. |

I like your spirit but what could we possibly do?
I'm sure the Devs are talented people, but something just isn't right. Who knows?
I think this 1.4 update will run off a lot of people who were on the fence. I've seen a LOT of people leave this game. There's only so many times you can push your patience toward he next update.
I'm not going anywhere yet and I know the vast majority of my corp aren't going anywhere. We are on the upward rebound of losing a bunch of players to dissatisfaction in Dust.
But I don't think any level of Kumbaya by the player base is going to save this game. CCP has to deliver on these updates. |

I don't know if you're American Thor but there is no limit to the people's power and Dust gives us the chance to have such freedom that we may change our fate uniting in such a way is confounding at best thats why I am asking the savior of this game may be the one who just started playing not those us a new vision and Input must be developed everyone has a different and ulitmate goal for this game. I can't sympathize too much for those who say it's too hard. But those who would will noty lay down and die there is our force. That is the future. Many will fall from the overwhelming odds and realization that we are screwed without taking on these challenges. Honestly if it made someone feel better I'd die the whole game just to make someone else happy. I can't tell you on both sides how many times I decided not and to pull the trigger out of regret or pity. Don't have much pity for the prideful.
But I have respect for those who would fight insurmountable odds. Almost to the point I have not cared if we won just because I smiled in a game.
Have you ever been there? standing before a foe and out strafed his bullets only to find he respected your skill and just stood there next to you?
I had a match like that not just once. I sacrificied my superficial pride to have someone know deeper than ever that I was superior and given them the vision that to be better it's not just the gear. It's the spirit. I turned away from that situation to be gunned down by his teammate. His team had no Idea I had shown mercy on the field. But I didn't care. We are immortal in this game. But really what is Immortal is what we pass down to our future players.
That guy dreams of being me one day. I don't remember his name but i guarentee he still plays today because of that would you? |

Who knows what but if it speaks to you I need support crazy could be a word for it high whatever. Guys I just need your help to make it a game worth playing I don't want to lose my community over something that's temporary when we hold the power. You want the perfect game? Let's help our CCP reps make it for us that's what the company and the community wants. I'd really like to see who disagrees with that. Before you trolls attempt why even start if you weren't committed? |

There are quite a few people (myself included) who are nuts over this game.
I tend to believe ill be rewarded for my patience.
The SP and time invested will keep people coming back for a glance. If the updates deliver, then we have a future.
I try to remember that the first few days always suck. Something is always jacked up and they fix the issues pretty quick.

Is this game the complete game or am I playing a really bad demo?
Is there any sense of enjoyment when you go into a game now? Is there any sense of gratification when you do the impossible?
I was on the Dust 514 bandwagon and I saw the potential like so many others. My patience as been growing thin and today has made me realize that I will no longer waste my time with this game. You guys can rise up and help this game out all you want. I honestly don't see this game going anywhere with all of the fun games coming out in the future. |

Good points Thor and Jimbo. Without a doubt in both of your answers after reading it carefully. The answers are in both your questions. I agree. I think this is only a beta if we let it and it's only a failure if we let it. Encourage others to grab their friends and make this future game a good reality for us all. |

I have been a long time supporter of Dust and CCPs effort to produce something unique with the game. That said Dust has a long way to go before it will feel like it is complete, just as Eve did when it first started. I do feel that the game needs some serious large scale upgrades that can be found in my many other posts. I have watched the forums and seen the same kinds of comments after each patch, QQ this QQ that and realize that nothing will ever be as everyone is expecting ever when patch day hits. I support telling CCP if something is broken, all I ask is that others do too.
Of course I also pay for my Eve time so as the game is more fully developed I have been enjoying it more than playing Dust. There is a stark contrast between the two games that is about as wide as the Pacific Ocean and it is time for that to change. One Universe // One War was a big add campaign that although it was vague it advertised something that I feel wasn't delivered upon. Namely any feeling that the two universes were linked in anything other than comms. We have an NPC market, can't trade goods and have a marginal interaction with Eve Players when calling down OBs in PC battles if someone is around to drop the OB, other wise it still comes down in a slightly weaker form which is indistinguishable from the real thing when you are laying on the ground dead.
I remember watching the E3 trailer and thinking oh wow that game looks cool. I still want to play that game, a far different one than what we have now. Perhaps it is in the works but it seems like that was an open world full of emergent gameplay in which interaction with eve players meant the ability to work together, to trade goods and services as well as being able to walk around on stations with other players (not stuck in your quarters) and actually do something other than just find a Lobby Game. That is the game I want to play. This one is broken far too often for it to be "finished enough for consumption" other than in the form more commonly referred to as a Beta.
Think what you will, I still want Dust to succeed but feel there is no progress being made, with 2 steps forward and 1 step back each time it is patched. I am patient and want this to succeed as intended, not as a remake of Call of Duty. |

Many people joined the game, vets in particular, because of the amazing trailers that consistently showed intense vehicle warfare, drones, a variety of weaponry, and a sense of meaning in the eve universe. Much of this has been lacking but we still played because of our hope for the future. We tried to get more people in on the game because it was still fun, if not hard to understand at first, and the next generation of dust mercenaries were in it for the squads, corps, teammates and friends. As the vets slowly trickled away when they saw their original motivation getting farther and farther off (ex. tankers, dropships, non ARs) the newer mercs continued to establish their place in the community. Unfortunately the new matchmaking seriously discourages any squad formation and I fear this will drive off many of the new generation of dust mercs as well. Because their motivation isn't for the future of the game like the vets was, its for the here and now. If we are to keep the playerbase going we need to pull together as a community. A good place to start is on the forums, where devs see our thoughts because devs are also a part of this community. We have to unite and push proper feedback, as Wang has been begging us for. Real numbers, ideas, examples, and circumstances for anything we post about instead of straight trolling. Is it realistic to expect this? maybe not. But we should try. Because the devs are trying their best to get us playing the game, and we should try our best to help them improve it and keep their jobs. Alot of them are pretty cool, yeah? |

I agree with this, though I am concerned if the Dev's are seeing the constructive feedback that are really not bias. It is said that they are reading what we post, but with so much information from people wanting radical changes or changes to only effect other things with the complete disregard of how other mechanics work, I am at lost. I know many who give great feedback, and many of it on issues that have been around since chormosome and the beginning of uprising. If what we are communicating to CCP with the mixture of everything else from the community to leave unbalanced mechanics, because it only favors them, is causing this, then I would much rather CCP not take any constructive feedback. The state of our Dust 514 is getting slim. There are tons of other games out there coming out within this month, that are promising similar things that CCP is looking to do. I honestly feel CCP has a huge jump on the competition, and an already established base that many will not even flinch in regards to these others, provided the Eve universe can stand on its own two feet, so to speak. There are tons of examples that are out there to which I can support my argument on how, yes a free to play game is making all the headlines. I don't know if CCP understands that this is really something pioneering the future of gaming from the traditional model set ages ago. All other forms of entertainment have already started to really adapted this way of thinking, and its great to see gaming moving in similar respect. I do dream of the day when this game hits game reviewers out there and stating on how a free to play game is causing such a huge fuss, making other companies adopt what CCP is already doing! I really just hope for the best. Ok I am jumping off my soap box. |

As a vet I can't say playing fair was ever anything that actually occurs in real war. But to say that we are failing because of simple mistakes ones that CCP can and should be aware of before we go through updates like this. Make sure you say whats best for the game not your assault or class or whatever. Get your new guys intimately involved just like we are.
