removal of the ability to select one's preference for game modes was a bad decision. I for one loathe ambush and won't play it because I dislike the blob mentality and lack of tactical options.
put back the ability to choose which game mode we wish to play. This choice was never wanted, and is bluntly obnoxious.
When I select skirmish I expect to play skirmish. |

I tried to play the game earlier, but I got lagged off due to patch being implimented today, but if I can't even pick the match type I want to play, I call massive bs, I'm a merc not a slave I get choices in what I do and who I fight for and why. Beyond that, no other game that I know of that is a FPS tells you what mode of gameplay you have to play, their is always options. Something like this would get me to stop playing for least a month or two till they came to their senses and undid the stuipidity. |

[X] Skirm
just uncheck the ones you don't want to play before you search, has an options button |

Badpost is bad. Just because I uncheck ambush does not means it keeps me out of ambush. it means if I get outvoted and everyone else who gets dropped in my queue wants ambush I get shafted with ambush.
People have found that unchecking something does NOT mean you won't get stuck there. Screw that noise. |

It's bugged. Apparently a fix is coming either tomorrow or the day after to address it. |

Update 2013-09-04:Good news everyone! A fix has been staged for deployment today that should fix issues with partly filled battles, abnormally long queues, not matching into selected game types and improve network latency. Fixes have also been staged for faction warfare battles putting you on the wrong side and some connection errors.

It does if you guys would just wait for the announced fix until you flame about the system. I mean really. I've seen thousands of threads complaining about the matchmaking and wanting to change it to the old system (which will lead to protostomp qq posts again btw.) and none of them has the time to wait 7 hours for the fix to be deployed. |
