I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks about this but, The holographic projection of the terrain in the war room would be so much more useful if it actually had the battle map we were about to fight on. Pre-game strategy could be applied for Skirms and Doms. For Ambush, I'm not really sure how it would help since most of the time you will spawn knee-deep in red scum.
Will this become a function later on that a future patch will fix? Or is it going to continue to look like a bunch of triangles and rhombuses? The geometry in it is kind of amusing really.
Your survival heavily depends on strategy and tactical awareness, So this battle board could possibly help everyone's squad survive a bit longer and understand their roles and direction in the upcoming battle. |

Since you might be a little new here let me fill you in on something, this issue with the map not loading has been brought directly to CCP's attention, and instead they ignored it a long time ago and are going to work on it "sometime in the future". Keep in mind, when CCP tells you that they will work on it "in the future" It's most likely going to take a very, very, very, very long time until it's actually worked on, at least with CCP Shanghai. |

Back in the closed beta days CCP blamed this map on some Lag issues and took it away and it has never returned. Funny thing is that the lag issue remained. |

I'm not new to the game. Kind of new to posting things on the forums though. I had wondered if this issue was brought up before. But thank you for the update.
Also, I'm completely aware of CCP and their amazing ability to not finish things. lol But hey, I'm not gonna judge. There is plenty of things I started engineering and then stopped because I started working on another project. Of course I always went back to finish, though, So I'm hoping CCP will follow the same path. |
