To all those whiners, QQ-ers and doom-sayers, **** you. CCP is the best games dev by far.
- Just played the new map socket, ******* awesome.
- Mouse is fixed!
- Love the "recent updates" screen
- Armor FTW
- Survived a murder taxi!
- LOL'd at a guy who was killed by a LAV and the kill feed said "Road Kill"

Research facility - HUGE! Lots of indoor spaces, including tunnels, hallways and STAIRS!
The medium sockets are also pretty cool - the best of the medium sockets had the objective 2 floors underground!!!!
I also survived a murder taxi, and because I thought I was going to die, I stood still - then realized I was still alive (only to be shot by his friend)! Freaking greatness! |

I tested my logi and a heavy alt. my heavy is pretty rockin now, i think the kick reduction and the armor buff maybe bit too much of a double buff. i've never been great with it but i went into an ambush and just slaughtered folk, faster moving, almost 2000hp and HMG barely kicks (i have sentinel 5 and HMG prof 4) yes it over heats a bit quicker but the accuracy buff may need a slight tweak, maybe reduce the kick bonus from 5% per level to 3% possibly even 2%.
other than that i think a lot of things have been balanced, huge reduction in murder taxi use, actually survived being bumped by a couple and given chance to lob my new proto grenades and take them down without being insta killed from a 5mph murder taxi
have to say i'm not a big fan of the new battlefinder. sure will get used to it but i clicked to find domination and ended up in an ambush so may be a few bugs. i'd rathe rit just say it cant find a battle that put me in a gametype i don't want
first hour though, i'm impressed. lot of stuff fixed. will see how that changes over this weekend lol |

and thats only because i have low CPU/PG skills and cant fit a full rack of proto plates, add in i could get 25% extra shields and that number soon rises (no shield skills in that near 2k) use heavies are pretty b****in now lol
On the upside, many folk don't use them so wont realise this but the armor buff has made the Commando suits really great now as well. onlpy reason i don't have them on this char is cos i'm waiting for the other racial heavy frames |

near 2000 total hitpoints (shield and armor) i have around 1400 armor and then the base shields (450?) thats with 2 complex and 2 enhanced plates, armor lv5 no shield skills on a proto sentinel. i have poor cpu/pg skills too so with them maxed liek most folk will then i would expect a full set of complex plates (heavy weapon op, electronics/engineering lv5 ect) but yeah heavies are really to be feared now. the HMG op bonus relaly helps too. my HMG harldy kicks at all now (lv5) i honestly believe it should perhaps be 3% per level cos i actually feel sorry for the guys running at me
my proto gall logi has 800 armor and 99 shield hp atm though so i can still go toe to toe with heavies but its a much tougher battle now. pre 1.4 i actually used to run after a heavy to kill it, now you have to run away from a heavy like the good old days |
