Wakko03 Better Hide R Die 338	Posted - 2013.09.03 10:52:00 - [6] - Quote You probably should have done a fresh install as ccp just adds on top of the old files, plus with the events adding to the base download they have a tendency to muck up the hit detection and everything else by fragmentating the data over multiple sectors of the HDD. But then again, they probably haven't updated the download client to install 1.4 from a fresh install without having to install 1.3 first... so it looks like I will have to wait to check out the stability of the game until that happens.

Wouldn't be so bad if the patch download could be resumed from where it left off if it failed, but if anything goes wrong, ISP, local, or otherwise with the patch download... we have to start all over from scratch. And for people that don't have freakishly fast internet speeds, this is a huge problem.
