LT SHANKS Amarr Templars Amarr Empire 430	Posted - 2013.09.03 06:19:00 - [1] - Quote Over the last 8 or so months, I've accumulated a good amount of Officer Weapons. However, the only one I've been able to use is my Gastun's MIN-7 HMG. I have quite a number of Thale's, Krin's, and other items in the 50+ range that I simply cannot use. What do I do with all these excess items: horde them? At this point in time, is item trading even on the development table?

I have several of all types. I guess I'll just have to snipe you down and take your gear then, maybe they'll allow looting by the time the market comes out

This would be a quite a nice addition as they could just create a contract system that would allow players to create contracts such as: [WTS] 16x CALA's smg 16mil [WTB] 10 Thale's 12mil or just make a new section in the marketplace for player goods :3

I am just curious to know what CCP wants us to do with these items other than having them for collection purposes. Do they intend for us to achieve a level 3 proficiency in all weapons as part of their ten year plan? It seems silly to me. If possible, I'd like to receive some official word on the status of the market and item trading. I'm sure many of you have officer weapons that are just collecting "dust" in your inventories. Having the ability to trade and sell them would actually put all excess gear to good use rather than keeping them stored away, never to be used in combat.

Having the ability to trade and sell them would actually put all excess gear to good use rather than keeping them stored away, never to be used in combat. it only takes about 2 weeks WITHOUT booster to get a weap to 5 then prof to 3, either use it or dont and just sell it when you can in a single tripple SP event you can get 2 weapons to 5 and with a few hours grind have both at prof 3 - with booster

Closed beta tournament reward. Can't be obtained otherwise (at this point). I have 50 Balac's. It has around 100 less damage than the Thale's and can hold 2 shots more in the clip (so 7 shots in a clip). I believe it has the same amount of zoom as the Thale's.

I always read comments praising the Thale's, but how much better is it than the Ishukone, Charge, and Kaalakiotaka?

It has more than 100 more base damage, then factor in proficiency levels and damage mods and it's actually more a 150-200 damage difference. The Thale's can do more than 500 damage while the Ishukone can do about 300-350 damage. The Thale's also has a better zoom I believe, meaning it's easier to hit people at long distances.
