These are not my experimental fittings. These are all battle tested fittings that excel at what they do both on a spreadsheet and on the battlefield against the best teams PC has to offer. Use these fits for exactly what I prescribe them for, and you will win.
For killing infantry: Madrugar High: Active Heat Sink 2, Active scanner Low: 180mm plate, Best Repper, PG Upgrade, 2 Active Hardener Turret: 80GJ Scattered Blaser, 2 20GJ Scattered Blaster *Will be outclassed by any well-built tank above militia in a pitched battle due to its extremely low DPS
For killing shield tanks up close: Madrugar High: Active Heat Sink 2, Nitros Low: 120mm, Best Repper, PG Upgrade, 2 Active Hardener Turret: 80GJ Scattered Ion, 2 20GJ Scattered Ion *While the best close-range tank destroyer money can buy, it is easily taken out by explosive AV weapons, when compared to the version with the 180mm plate and the blaster [vs ion cannon. It lives and dies by the accuracy of the turret, rather than its tank.
For killing armor tanks up close: Madrugar High: Damage Control Unit, Nitros Low: 180mm, Best Repper, PG Upgrade, 2 Active Hardener Turret: XT-01 Cycled Missiles Turret, 2 20GJ Scattered Ion *Absolutely unmatched at killing armor tanks of any kind, but relatively useless vs shield tanks / infantry
For General Railgunning: Madrugar High: Active Heat Sink, Nitros Low: 120mm, Best Repper, PG Upgrade, 2 Active Hardener Turret: 80GJ Compressed Particle Cannon, 2 20GJ Scattered Ion *(Depending on your accuracy, the compressed PC can be switched out for the normal PC, if you need more shots to hit your target. Also note that doing this will increase your anti-infantry effectiveness, while reducing anti-vehicle effectiveness) |

Sharing fits is good. Personally, I can't drive a tank around a light pole without exploding but I like seeing this. |

I like this.
I'm going to post up my gunnlogi fittings in kind. When I was a noob tanker, I scoured all through the forums looking for example fits to get me started in the right direction. |

Could you share your reasoning behind large cycled missiles, they are generally accepted as the worst even though my experience with small missiles says cycled rocks. |

Using large missiles is for killing armor tanks with blasters. While the Accelerated do more damage, initially, and can land the missiles more accurately over distance, if the armor tank closes with you, then he has a chance to out DPS you in the initial bout. What you want to do is welcome him into your arms. The cycled missiles shoot more often, and much faster than any other varient, and over the course of an engagement, it adds up, significantly. If both tanks are at full health, the blaster tank will have to pull back because he can't shoot you, enough, and you just follow him very closely, raining missiles on him. if you are fighting an armor missile tank with anything except cycled, you will notice any advantage that their slightly more powerful missiles give them is lost when you close the distance to a knife fight. Believe it or not, the cycled missile launcher out-DPS's every turret available...if you land every shot, which is why getting close is key.
However, equipping these missiles will make you almost useless against infantry, so keep that in mind and roll with a buddy who has a blaster.
Keeping all this in mind, it will not do wonders on a Falchion. With the falchion, keeping your distance and using damage mods and nitros is what will win, because they cannot close distance, tank damage, and disengage fast enough. |

Hm.
All sounds legit, gonna go maths it now :)
EDIT: Also, why bother with PRO rider turrets? Or is this essentially to show that it's possible?
I've been using a few variations on the first fitting for a while now, and if I fit missiles, I can fit 180 Poly and an H.Efficient Repper. Dropped a few (more than a few, including some of our more experienced tankers) HAVs with it, too. Not saying it's advisable, of course. |
