What ever happened to CCP saying theyre going to "Give dropship pilots some love :)" in the beginning of Uprising? So far everything has gone a buff EXCEPT FOR DROPSHIPS. Tanks got buffed. Even lav's got buffed. Then people complained vehicles were OP, they couldn't solo kill something thats made to take on heavy damage. If they were supposed you be easily killed, they wouldn't need thousands of hp and av that do hundreds of damage. Just give them 2000hp and av 500dmg if its meant to be solo'd. But thats a different matter. The problem is av was buffed to fight the buffed vehicles, when DS's are left in the dark and that sucks. Especially since the risk doesnt compare to the reward. Tanks can go 28 or 36 and 0, and come in first place. Even a murder taxi and place high and make like 300k in a match. But even in a game were you're flying close air support for the ground troops, your team is winning with assistance from you and your gunners. Your gunner go like 20/2 and score 4th and 5th place. You come in freaking 11th place most of the time and make like 160k. And if you lose just 1 ship you SOL. Pilots have love to fly and we can barely be effective to the team for more than putting someone on a roof to snipe, forge snipe, or place uplinks -.- . And for whose of us that do want to actually be useful run the risk of being insta killed by a free militia forge or anv adv av. Not to mention the flaylock pistol >:( . And if we arent putting our selves out there we get, "youre not be useful...."
I got a email after a match saying, "Nice flying. I respect ds pilots because I know its not easy on your wallets. Must pilots do it out of their own hearts for their team. Thank you for your sacrifice. "
I hope we pilots will "get some love" from CCP soon, cause we didnt work this hard to fly in circles in the sky or drop off snipers..... |

You'll spend 15 minute being harassed by that (non-rendered) red-line rail tank, who if you managed to get down to 20% shields will hop out and recall the vehicle in under 3 seconds, which is about the same time it would take for him to kill you, AND YOU'LL LIKE IT! |

Dropships will get some love soon a thread was up in June. Afterwards, CCP CMDR WANG stated that they will revisit dropship design after the core fixes and bugs have been solved,

-.- rail gun tanks. I mean that sorta is their job, denying vehicle support and taking out turrets, but kike you said you cant hit them way out there and if you do they run in the redline akl safe and sound. That could be fixed by keeping their current firing range and increasing the distance from the spawn to the battle field, making the rail tanks have to come a pretty far distance awa4from the redline to get in firing range and where they can be approachable by av.And the same time make havin a ds pilit on you team useful so they can get there faster than lav's and care more people. |

Thank you. I love people who are helpful on the forums. There's a time and place for trolling. There should bena trolling section for trolls to dish it out and see who's the biggest and brightest troll. Even give them a troll tag lol |

Your welcome, I wrote quite extensively in that thread so I had to put it up and try and get more people to write and give there ideas. |
