It would be rubbish without any armour plates but stacking kin cats would make for a good troll fit.

With two Comp kins it does make it easier to play without a full squad and/or logistics support. Don't underestimate the ability to disengage and engage in firefights at speed and react to threats much more quickly. Finally the ability to more then negate the movement penalty from a single plate is a nice option to have. It Also helps with dodging those pesky LLAV's.

I would want to do a 1v1 versus a speed tank heavy just too see who is better.

And even if it wasn't, -5% and +5% don't cancel one another out. 100 - 5% = 95 95 + 5% Gëá 100 100 + 5% = 105 105 - 5% Gëá 100 Either way, you would end with less than your base movement speed.
