The semi auto scrambler rifle would become the new king of rifles. Seriously.

I was running around with a low cost Raven suit with a standard version of this weapon, and that thing kicks so much ass, I'm usually left in aw at how much damage that thing can deal to shields, and armor alike. Sure it overheats pretty danm quick. But one thing that I learned is that the faster you fire, the more shots you can produce before it overheats. If you charge a shot, even for half a second, it produces quite a bit more heat build up when compared to trying to fire the thing at full auto. Since it can deal close to 70 damage per shot, that's a **** load of damage that thing can deal out per mag. Which means this gun can actually benefit from a turbo controller. (not that any of you should use one... <.<)

At first I would only use the auto version because i was deterred away from the semi auto version because of the high heat build up. But after practicing with it for a while. I have come to love this thing.

You all need to play with this gun, it is literally a monster in waiting. It will become the next dominate rifle if the other one is ever nerfed. Getting 5-7 shot probably wont be fun for a lot of you.

If I put 1 or 2 complex damage mods I can kill a sucky suit in 2-3 hits. I honestly only use the advanced ones so idk about the proto.

i prefer rapid fire weapons myself..although i at least try to aim with my weaponry...

but its hard when my opponent is strafing super freaking fast.....

which is why i now use a std mass driver..

It is a very good weapon but it simply requires too much caution and handling for your average tryhard to stick with it for more than a match or two.

I've been OHK'ing people with the charge shot all day long. I won't go as far as to say it's OP, but it's definitely powerful.

But the ScR isn't OP. Nerfing the AR wouldn't change that. It would be used more no doubt, but not all of the sudden OP.

the problem with this gun, as you mentioned before, are modded controllers/programable Mouses... just recently i noticed a lot of SCR using folks shooting way too fast for having a great accuracy and way more shots (even when they dont run Amarr Proto).. i use the std version of the SCR over my shotgun on open maps.. so i have references.

a while ago i've met an gallente proto player who was running a SCR and he was shooting so damn fast without overheating that i firstly thought it was a glitch or something.. then someone told me that shooting faster generates less heat (he tested it with a mouse, which had a turbo function)... then everything was clear.

so a armor tanked proto gallente (& Amarr) with 3 complex light dmg modifiers and a semi auto SCR (most likely the imperial) and a turbo controller/mouse is pretty much op .. when u dont abuse that kind of stuff i would say the SCR is pretty much balanced i mean when you pray n' spray with it, it would overheat really fast...

so in conclusion the gun is fine but the way it can be abused should be removed (and not getting nerfed like the TAC AR)...

Can we please apply the same logic to the mass driver?
ScR is powerful and deservedly so, but if youre gonna use it like a full auto weapon you might as well go for the assault variant!!

I never got why people think this, If this was CoD and you die in three shots I'd understand but 5 shots of an AR never killed a thing and spraying and praying with an AR makes you look stupid, not to mention you're missing most of your shots.

But of course people will always whine about whatever kills them.
