So with the 1.4 patch heavies are gonna be able to rotate their whole body with all that gear as fast as a scout can? If so then scouts are doomed in this game. Scouts won't stand a chance against a heavy if they can have no problem keeping up with scouts in a gun fight. |

You're still much faster than us. Just don't run along all herpty derpty head first into a fight with a heavy. Like, if your team is attacking an objective from one way, you as a scout should go and attack from behind. |

It was done once before and Scouts survived just fine.
We could still run fast enough to keep out of sight if we were smart enough to start a fight from behind. |

scouts shouldnt be able to dodge bullets simply because the heavy cant physically turn fast enough. that is BAD FPS mechanics.
your run speed still gives a ******** advantage over heavies and if you cant kill em fast enough with that duvolle or MD, try nova knives.
trust me, they work |

trust me, they work Yes were fast but not as fast as you think, the slot CPU an ph is friggen horrible, a advanced suit needs to use a CPU chip in order to fit a gun in both slots , a equipment an a grenade, still have horrible shields, an only runs around 9, any other suit can run just as fast. Not to mention in 1.2 they made the scouts collision model increase in size with speed so you can die even after turning a corner, so what do u think will happen when a heavy with a mini gun can make quick semi circle turns an mow down a entire squad by himself, it's rediculous, plus a armor buff man it's gonna get durty! |

Collision detection model for ALL Dropsuits (not just Scouts) expands with speed. This means you clip corners when trying to cut them too tightly. It DOESN'T mean you're an easier target for bullets, because hit detection models ARE NOT CHANGED. |

But the hit box lag does mean we are easier to hit currently the faster you move the more the hit box lags so you dont need to actually hit the scout to kill it |

But the hit box lag does mean we are easier to hit currently the faster you move the more the hit box lags so you dont need to actually hit the scout to kill it That's a totally different problem to the claim that the hitbox gets larger. I'm not saying there aren't problems with Scouts and hitboxes. I'm just saying that the "problem" being blamed in that post isn't a real one. |
