instead of having blast splash. make the splash EM, like a flux. the splash will rarely kill anyone but will serve the intended purpose of area denial. secondly, a direct hit from a 40m round will still do significant damage to a dropsuit. now the weapon requires skill for kills, as well as returns to its intended role as a support weapon. Logi's should be using the MD to assist assaults, not assaults using them for kills.
now everyone can stop whining. |

All it needs is an arming time so you cant spam 5 feet in front of you, and a bigger splash damage reduction the further away from the center you are. Assault variant can have less damage dispersion so they arent doing 10 damage at max range. Also the explosive damage needs to be normalized, I believe its +30-35% efficiency towards armor which turns MD into a real killer and not a deterrent. |

have you ever seen a grenade going off, it has a kill radius, weather its from shrapnel or concussive blast, you sill end up dead or fcked up , a grenade that doesn't kill, that's called a flash bang,
because I don't like being killed by bullets maybe they could change the physic's so that it curves before it hits me. oh wait the game uses real ish physics so that's why,

Hold on let me get this straight, you want to take an aoe weapon designed for BREACHING (read short range COMBAT ( read the ability to kill) and basically take away its potential to any form of sustained damage?
The Md is a area denial and breaching tool as it says in the description, if it doesnt kill people its not gonna breach, and why cant it be used by assults for assaulting?? It has an assault variant??
It doesnt even need an arming distance, or a deadzone, or a blindspot, all it needs is a higher chance of hitting its user, not by much but to deter spam, CCP if your reading just do a quick check, whats the blast radius for friendly fire, is it the same or smaller, I would just like to know!! |
