With the new matchmaking coming with 1.4, how long is it going to take to get in a match? It currently takes 90 seconds to get in a match and that already feels like a long time. I hope it does not take any longer than that. Does anyone know how long it will take? I tried searching but I did not find anything. |

I'll have to agree with the above, its quality over quantity as far as matches go.
What's the rush to join a match if its a 65-0 pubstomp? I'd rather have a long gritty battle going down to 0-0 as often as possible. |

This is very irritating! You guys CRY for better matchmaking but now you will CRY that it might take longer? What do you want from CCP? They are working on there game about what people QQ over and what the charts say. They did want alot of new players wanted.
If its taking you 90 seconds to get in a game. You have BAD INTERNET! its not CCP. It only takes 3-15 seconds for me to get into a game.
There isnt anyway for you to find out how long it will take until you play in 1.4 |

1. I was simply asking a question.
2. Learn to play the game so you will not get stomped.
3. It does take in general 90 seconds to be deployed.
4. I never asked for better matchmaking or complained about hardly anything
5. My Internet connection is excellent.
6. This is why I try to stay away from forums.

I hope it takes 5 minutes to match people and get deployed so I can come back here and see all of you crying. I'll simply quit playing this game.

My corp had the most epic back and forth skirmish against Synergy a few days ago. If matchmaking works this time, I hope every battle is intense like that. |

PUB matches typically take 45 seconds and 90 seconds at the latest but if it was quicker that be cool but i'd rather it be longer if it helps keep all matches balanced so the matches are not so lopsided. |

I match instantly, the second after I pick the game mode I hear people on team chat. I honestly dont mind increased matchmaking time if it means less one sided pubstomps, but I'm pretty skeptical at this point whether it would work or not. |

That's mostly loading time, once the yellow text changes from 'searching for battle' (or whatever is actually is) to 'waiting for deployment' - which is pretty damm quickly - that's the current matchmaking finished. |

Maybe their talking Merc or PC battles. Those take 2-3x as long to load otherwise it's always a short hop into any pub game. I don't really care how long it takes as long as we can get our full team in and stop the BS surrounding Qsync's that rarely work out right. |

You don't understand what this thread is about. They are not talking about the current matchmaking system. They are talking about the new matchmaking system that is coming on September 3rd. This new matchmaking system should supposedly make matchmaking much better, but at the cost of taking longer to load battles. |

The day that ambush gets fair matches is a day I have been waiting for, although I don't want to wait around for 15 mins to get into a match.
I can accept a little longer wait time, but anything past the 4-5 min mark is going to be brutal beyond belief. Especially if the matches are still unbalanced (and they probably will be, since there is no squad-free options yet).
I really wish they would release a blog on the changes in matchmaking (or at least give us an idea how it is being balanced). Of all the things in 1.4, the new MM system is definitely the one I am most looking forward to. |

I think the point we're all trying to make is that it doesn't take everyone 85 seconds to load the match - thus the 'you must have a bad internet connection' comments. |
