Also. If this was replacing the current SP system, we'd be capped at 42k a week at best.

It's a 'Daily Activety Bonus' there's no mention of cap ... although it's reaches a limit after 7 days of activity so day 8, 9 etc. all recieve the same bonus as day 7

passive gain is unchanged.
active gain is unchanged - including weekly cap
added a new 'bonus sp' just for logging in
'bonus sp' increases each consecutive day you log in up to 7 days where you get 'max bonus sp' every day until you fail to log in ... then you go back to day 1 and the 3,000 sp bonus in the picture starts building daily again.
Edit : I understand daily means any time between downtimes ... read it somewhere in a devpost

that quote only says we are getting an active bonus. it makes no mention of if we are still getting our weekly bonus cap aswell. it doesn't make sense to me for us to receive 2 sp gain bonuses |

Sorry I thought you'd have got this by now ... the word 'added' implies it is being ... well ... added ... if it was replacing something they'd have used the word ... well lets see ... probably 'replacing' would have been in there somewhere alongside mention of the weekly cap.
It makes no mention of if we still need to shoot people in game, I wonder if they removed that aswell
There is only one bonus ... the daily activity bonus being added in 1.4 ... the weekly active sp cap is just that ... a cap on the active sp you can gain ... weekly ... it's not a bonus ... many would say it's a hindrance but that's beside the point !
The picture doesn't show any "active sp bonus cap" ... it shows your passive gain (presumably since you last logged in) ... your 'daily login bonus' ... unallocated sp ... current total sp ... total isk ... total AUR. It would be nice if it showed how many points remaining till you hit your weekly active cap (note there's no bonus there it's just a cap) since this is ONLY displayed in the post-battle screen, but maybe they'll add that in at a later date. |
