Potential, just CCP needs to capitalize on the post release phase, and start adverting soon.
In fact, DUST is pretty good as it stands. Improve NPE, fix the bugs, give more Maps, along with the basic content, and DUST is going to be the beast that just crawled out of its hole to munch all the poor short-term games. |

No matter how hard people may gripe about this game, they still choose to play it.
I ****ing hate the grind and repetitious lobbyshooter-esque feel, but I'm still playing. Other FPS'es just feel kinda boring now. |

I'm hooked, and havent been playing anything else but Dust since I downloaded it, ditching Planetside 2.
Haters gonna hate, and theyre always louder and more vocal group. You always hear of these people "coming back after 3 months" and saying the game sucks, but the fact they still remember Dust and come back, in my mind, means they see its potential and will come back once they feel it is "fixed".
Also people who love the game tend to just go along playing it :3, they dont need the forum since they show their appreciation by logging in everyday.

It's got serious issues and a long way to go, but its still the only game I've played since I started playing it 3+ months ago, and its the only online fps that I have ever felt compelled to play beyond the first hour or two of playing. |
