Why not have an event bonus SP cap in addition to the weekly bonus SP cap. With this, everybody can get up to the same amount of event SP; this way, they won't feel cheated out of getting extra SP if they hit their cap early. |

I have no opinion one way or the other, all I know is my gut says maybe.
EDIT: seriously though, good idea. Allows you to make full use of an event even if you already hit the cap. |

Unless you mean that if there was a 3x so event starting Friday and you capped out on Thursday, then you'd have a 2x size cap for the rest of the event. If that's what you mean (hard to tell, you had no examples), then it's already been suggested.

You're not getting what I'm proposing. The event bonus SP will only be there for the duration of the event and be based on a fixed total amount of SP. It will not be there before the event starts.
This would make events not need to shortened like next week's event and not penalized people's play-styles. |

Here's an example:
Event: 3x WP SP
Scenario 1 - No booster
You earn 6k SP from a match and get 2k WP. You gain a 6k Event SP.
You earn 4k SP from a match and get 2k WP. You gain a 6k Event SP.
You earn 5k SP from a match and get 3k WP. You gain a 9k Event SP.
Scenario 2 - You have a 1.5x Skill Booster before you reach your weekly cap.
You earn 6k SP from a match and get 1k WP. You gain a 6k Event SP. You gain an extra 3k SP weekly and 3k event SP.
You earn 4k SP from a match and get 1k WP. You gain a 6k Event SP. You gain an extra 2k SP weekly and 3k event SP.
You earn 5k SP from a match and get 3k WP. You gain a 9k Event SP. You gain an extra 2.5k SP weekly and 4.5k event SP.
