I am frankly amazed this passed any sort of check to prevent CCP from being stupid. It's missing the one piece of feedback we've all universally agreed is needed, and put in a bunch of things that screw everyone else. One of the concerns that came up in feedback about the 7 day cycle was that it meant people had to play every day to earn the maximum reward. So it's the same amount that you would get over 7 days, just condensed to 3. Allowing for a more concentrated weekend event. Give it a try, see what you think - we look forward to your feedback!

So people who complained about the weeklong fatigue of having to play every day to get all the rewards now have to look forward to three days of even MORE grinding because you CONDENSED THE 7 INTO 3! YOU JUST MADE IT WORSE! Furthermore, the system in place makes it so that any of us who play before the event are missing out, and that those of us who play the longer gametypes are screwing ourselves out of points. Finally, we don't even get to SEE our progress until after the event ends! I know you guys are trying to try, but this is utterly braindead!

I don't even see what was wrong with the week-long event in the first place.
A good portion of the forum community will ***** about anything coming to them and wants everything handed to them.
If someone couldn't get at least some bonus SP in a week long event then oh well, that's life. The world doesn't revolve around just one individual, surprisingly as that may be to some people. At least some bonus SP was acquired, if you were like me and were out of town during the last SP event, oh well, it sucks but that's life.
Sometimes I look at CCP's dumb as **** decisions but the community is on par with their periodic idiocy. |

This ones no better to be honest ...
The announcement is where it should be in 'Announcements and Events" where the thread has been left open for your comments. Why you feel the need to vent in General Discussion escapes me.
And what the Subject line is ment to provoke I have no idea but it gives no indication of any content other than a dig at the devs ... is it designed to draw in the kind of people that just want to have a go at CCP devs for any random reason they find on the forums ? |

Honestly I don't give a damn. You may go ahead and think that I should give a damn about this, but it makes no difference to me. It's all the same. People will say an event is too long, others will say an event is too short, and if CCP has based this recent decision on the feedback given on the forums then we have ourselves to blame for putting in some ideas that may not work. They're trying to eliminate the grind-to-get-all-bonus-SP-before-week-cap. By reducing the days of bonus SP they make the event feel casual and not obligated, because it's obvious most of us who have real life won't be able to cap in 3 days. So it happens that the one day you get to play Dust in the weekend you'll get bonus SP for a couple of hours. Actually they should reduce it to 2 days to see how many hardcore gamers will actually cap.
