From twitter. There here is the concept for the Caldari Production Facility SI which is currently being worked on by CCP Logic Loop and his team. Facility looks large enough to have aerial dog fights inside of it.

I hope they enclose it. Make it look like a real production facility and not just part of the land scape as some of the "buildings" on the map look. |

I just hope they've hired an actual map designer at some point since the last maps were made. It would be nice to get some sockets that have some sort of attention paid to the actual gameplay that will be occurring within them for once. |

Looks awesome, personally I'd rather have a rail rifle though, my tac ARs getting rusty with all the enemy clone blood thats been splattered on it. I need a new caldari rifle to go with my 2 caldari proto suits, and my caldari thales with 5 complex damage mods, and my caldari Gastuns FG with 2 complex damage mods......Oh ya that reminds me, we need all officer varients of all guns and racial fillers , like the caldari heavy...wooo so many damage mods. |

Map Teams are separate from the ones doing most of the weapon work. However weapons are multiple teams from the art to physics to sound and game design itself.
As for the quality of the map 1.4 will give us a nice preview as its part of the newer standards set by the team. |

I understand where you're coming from Panther.
And in my opinion I think the simple addition of 3 new maps, 1 new outpost, 2 new medium sockets, and 4 new small sockets will go a long way in making Dust 514 feel fresh again. I think it will at least hold me off until 1.5 in October. |
