Me personally I'm very average. I don't have a problem admitting it. But I bring it and I take down my fair share against whomever I play.

Just because we all sit somewhere on a linear scale between "noob" and "no lifer" doesn't mean that "noobs" and "no lifers" don't exist. Sure, each person's idea of where exactly on the scale each cutoff is might be different, but there's plenty of people who could be considered one or the other by most people without much debate needed.
The problem with this game is the idiotic SP system actually punishes new players, and rewards the people who play constantly... which leads to a much larger discrepancy between the in-game effectiveness of each "type" of player. I think the term "tryhard" and "no lifer" get thrown around more here, as opposed to many other games, because it's so common to see players with 15+ MIL SP who attribute to skill that which is mostly due to sheer time-investment.
That doesn't mean that people who play 15+ hours a week aren't going to naturally get better at the game than someone like myself who only plays a few matches a week, it just means that the discrepancy is exaggerated.
Honestly, if CCP could implement a solution that made it easier to gain skills up until the first "set" of proto-level gear, and then slowed progression down once that milestone was reached, I think much of the name-calling would dissipate. |

noobs r players that suck no matter where they r at...
no lifers..
well they just dont get outside ........at all..
they just play 1 single game 24/7 all year long and they will never ever pause or leave the game..
that is the definition of a no lifer.. |
