yeah, but thanks to scouts low cpu and pg, if you want to use HIGH END EQUIPMENT WITH HIGH END WEAPONS than you better have some cpu mods.
But like I said. RE is the rule. those things WILL save your life, more than once. along with stealth. |

If your using ACTIVE scanners, then your really going for the scout role. congrats. now add uplinks and you just gave your team a nice tactical boost. |

Hm.. now that got me thinking of what nice combo nanites would be? what can you pair it up with? for a scout. |

Uplinks are more useful to win the battle. Active scanner is more fun to use when hunting.
That's why my latest scout suit is a Minmatar Logistics. The scout really needs two equipment slots. |

We can safely start with Uplinks, Active Scanners, REs & Nanohives. These are the most commonly used. |

Perhaps not the popular choice .. but i will say "Uplinks" ... scouts have the ability to infiltrate enemy territory very effectively, and drop Uplinks in crucial areas that can change the balance of the battle. |

First spawn, or otherwise near beginning of match: Uplinks. This lets you set up forward (or controlled) spawn points and help your team (as well as rake in some extra WP). Sometimes bringing this build again mid-game can be helpful, but it's more likely to benefit the earlier you bring it.
Mid- to end-game: Nanite Injectors are a good option, because your low Scan Profile lets you sneak through enemy lines and your speed and stamina lets you cross the map faster to reach downed teammates before they bleed out. Repair Tools are a surprisingly effective option for Scouts as well, again because of the speed/stamina thing. REs are awesome on a Scout if you're good with placement, but Scouts don't benefit from REs significantly more than other builds, so I personally don't feel like they're the best use of a Scout's unique advantages. Nanohives are similarly valuable coming from anyone, but Scouts can be pretty good if you hold off on placing them until the Logis are out or you're with a few teammates behind enemy lines and they need a resupply. |

That's exactly what I do (gal scout as well obviously). Poor kdr/high WP - just like a support unit should
The way the Ascanner can pull enemy units towards you is handy - it basically means you can lead reds and blues to fight each other - could change in 1.4 though?
REs can be useful for a scout assassinations - zip in behind a line, throw a RE at a heavy ideally and...
Definitely intend to give a rep build a go though...
Though its just more reasons the Min-logi calls to me...that hack bonus as well... |

If you play primarily Skirm & Dom, then alternating REs/ULs is worth your consideration. If play alot of ambush, especially if you're a CQC Scout, then give the Active Scanner a try.
