Anyone have any plans about how they will use the new tax system?
Who plans on going the 'minimalist' route as a non-PC corp and taxing nothing? Who is setting up related corps to manage a few different tax tiers? I'd especially be interested to hear if anyone plans on setting a tax higher than 15% but then trying to pay out some nice incentive rewards for performance and dedication.
I think doing something like an 18%-20% tax, and then saying, "We will track your performance over time, you register for one of our 4 different teams and you could potentially get a pretty good reward for your efforts." Team leaders then track on their own leaderboards, the performance of players over time, and then pay-out based on what they see. Players would then compete for the highest performance for the end-of-week rewards, thus leading to more participation and more taxes. |

18%-20% = empty corp. Anything over 15% sounds extreme to me, and even 15% sounds high. I'm betting most corps will have a tax of 2-10%, but it's highly dependent on if they have a strong EVE side. EVE will always take precedent over DUST, as there is a LOT more money changing hands. |

I plan on doing 10% for my corp, and then dropping it down as we build a nest solid nest egg. Don't plan on going lower then 5%.

A feeder corp that doesn't take part in PC should be taxed for training services. The PC corps see their benefits in the dedication of their players, not the money they earn. |

5-8% to help fund players wanting to spec into dropships, tanks, etc. Also planning to reward directors, squad leaders, etc, etc. I see the tax as a way for corps to start giving back to their members. |

I think this would be the biggest part of any tax program. You have to explain clearly the point of the tax and promote whatever service that is justifying it. |

I agree. And this transactional relationship will go a long way toward establishing a culture and community among corp members. The thing with vehicle drivers is that, if I ran a corp, I wouldn't want too many constantly asking for isk. It's mostly on them to figure out the ways to not be operating at a loss all of the time. |

Mine will be going 5% to help fund the HAV users, dropship pilots, that kind of thing. |

Rise of Old Dudes will not operate a tax system, as each player should be proven to be financially stable and self-sufficient. There are no Corporation operating costs (due to current lack of PC involvement) to offset, which would be the only reason to impose a fee to squad with some cool MFs. |

I think it depends on the corp and whether the players are comfortable with the direction the corp is going.
Ours will be at 5%. It's not going to bloat the wallet by any means but it will help fund wars. Wars are expensive.
We've talked about having contests on certain days when we are all queing into battles together, just for fun. |

Up to the players in Foxhound. Won't do anything that they feel hurts them. Imo, 15%-30% would be the right range. |

Not sure for our corp, but the best would be 10%. If the average player earns 100.000-200.000 per match (10% beeing 10.000/20.000 tax) and they play an average of 50 matches a week. The corp would earn 500.000-1.000.000 per player. 100 members in one corp, could generate 100 mil per week. That would give the corp more then enough to do PC, support any players and support in vehicles when needed. |

We have similar reasons for not implementing a tax on our members.
When corp features are added we'll open up discussion again on a corp tax. |
