Start the SP event on September 4ths downtime

Have the bonus SP equal to double of your TOTAL match SP

End the SP event on September 11ths downtime

That is all. If you do that then the grind won't be bad at all, it'll be exactly the same as it is every normal week except we gain double the points.

I've got the first week of September off, but now I have to skip playing Wednesday-Friday and cram all my cap in on Saturday and Sunday to get the benefit of the bonus. How the hell is that going to make it less stressful??? Someone explain this to me, please.

Someone explain this to me, please. all u crybabies who cant hit a 200,000 sp cap in a week stop complaining. be happy you get an event at all and play or dont, nobody else cares. a good way to have them taken away completely is keepp complaining. nobodys fault but your own that you lack sufficient skill to cap in any more than 8 hrs.

I thought some of the last events were bad, but you went and made it worse. So are we not supposed to play until Friday? What if you can't play on the weekend and can only play on weekdays? Sigh.

I know that it comes off as complaining for receiving free points, but you have to look at it deeper than that. This event is obviously flawed in design, but the people at CCP actually thought this would make it better. It's the same type of decision making that happens when they decide new players only need 1000 points in battle academy to be promoted to proto stomps, or that the Amarr Commando should get a racial bonus for module use when the Commando sacrifices modules and Amarr is the race that always has the least modules. It's not really complaining about receiving free stuff, it's complaining that there is someone at CCP who has a shockingly low amount of common sense. As a disclaimer I really want to support CCP and Dust and I'm always promoting it to everyone I talk to and always try to hide the flaws.
