The simple fact of this vehicle's kill/death ratio should tell everyone that it plainly doesn't work in the overall game. AV is totally ineffective against them unless they stop, and the only concession that will be put in place requires them to do so. Effectively, this is only penalizing them if they can't manage the herculean task of driving in a straight line. I appreciate all you've done , and the difficulty of the task, but I honestly can't conceive where your heads have been at on this issue. If you want cash, just make an Aurum weapon that can insta-kill a Charybdis, you'll make a tonne. |

Somewhere along the line, it was concluded that Contact Grenades were a bigger problem than LLAVs.
(Why the hell do Fused Locus Grenades still cost AURUM? Biggest waste there is.) |

Hey there. I feel your pain. We've all been run over by these things. I agree with your observation that it took way too long for them to be fixed. It'll be interesting to see how the fix in 1.4 pans out and how fast you really have to be going to kill things. Personally I feel LLAV's will still be present, they'll just drive in circles on the major roadways to score kills at deadly speed instead of driving slowly into nooks and crannies and bumping you to death. Won't change the fact that they're indestructible! I think we'll have to wait for 1.5 to see how that pans out... |

i know how rediclous they can b, but i think its more of an issue of peole not trying to kill them. almst every time i use mine it gest destroyed and when it dosnt get blown up ive noticed in those games peope dont event try to do anything about my car at all, my advice is to use a blaster tank and have 2 buddies with solid avkits tryto kill it with u dont forget about proxemity mines either |

People stop trying because they know that with there best AV gear (most of the time it's MLT or STD) they couldn't even scratch that things shields.
I seen one purposely ram into another LAV and blow it up. The LLAV still had a little under half it's shields.
`Sigh. Just another fun game of DUST. |

So we can now add llavs to your list of but hurt?? Llavs are tough because they are ment to be used to rep friendlys in a hot zoneand to extract friendlys when the going gets to tough. If you nerf their hp or rresistance then they will not be able to perform their function and you will just penalise players like myself who use them accordingy. I think you prety much just hate vehicles and if so your in the wrong game. |

I'm pretty certain the only vehicle-related things I've commented on are this and red-line tanking, and my opinions on that had nothing to do with the vehicle itself and were solely about how the red-line is instituted. Try doing a little reading before you get condescending. And frankly, if you actually use a Logi LAV for a support role, you must be one of the 3 or so people I've seen do it since they were introduced, I find it far more likely that you're one of the hundreds using it to play GTA.
EDIT: Never mind, I just read your response in the other thread and realized that you latched onto ONE word out of 3 paragraphs, intentionally misinterpreted it, and then tried to use it to undermine my argument. That makes it pretty apparent that there's no point using something as arcane as logic on a gent like yourself. |

.
I must say I do that as well, but mostly it's an enemy militia LAV actaully charging my LLAV and not the opposite (very clever, huh?)
I died so many times because of enemy kamikaze LAV's and since I have the LLAV unlocked, I enjoy enemies suiciding into my car.
I don't want an eccessive LLAV nerf (I do want a massive roadkill nerf), because I'm actually repping my squad's tanks and I'm a priority target when doing that. Don't penalize me for that, please. |
