Why should the game be balanced on meaningless matches between 2 squads of 4 and randoms? Everything should be balanced on solid 16 v 16 combat with all PRO gear. |

Exactly, it should be balanced based on competitive gameplay, not random "shoot at a tank with my ar" randoms that complain about everything that kills them. Most of us have played competitive fps for years, we know a good game, and dust is far from it. |

I tend to agree but its rather diffucult as CCP need to make money with this game and the playerbase is far from great in terms of numbers would balancing caters only to the few pro or pro like players there is a high risk dust will simply die as the casuals will leave the game when its no more fun.
Regarding Plantery conquest the last battles I have been part of where rather spamming MD/granades and FG than competetive gameplay  .
So I guess CCP should collect Data from both gametypes public as well as planetary conquest to get a bigger picture on the issues that exists (and there are many issues to collect data for).
But the most important thing before CCP starts balancing they should fix the core as much as possible hit detection, lag and aiming mechanics have a great impact on balancing. When CCP improves hit detection and aiming this will drastically alter the current balancing (or state of bancing) |

No. Design the game for new player experience then give bonus/penalties for things in PC.
The game won't last if the only people benefitting are the few people who have hung around long enough to get anything out of it.
Design for the casual gamer and then reward the hardcore gamer where appropriate. |

All the great players are GONE. The few that remain have been playing PC, but many of them will tell you that PC is garbage.
Your fighting for what exactly? Those planets don't really belong to you. they belong to the eve side of any alliance.
Also what your saying is to CLOSE THE DOOR at any new players indefinitely. As all changes will be made around vets. NO FPS GAME WILL EVER DO THAT. Unless you really want that niche of 2000- players. |

Its a common tactic to get a Forge Gunner up high in a PC match, there are some maps in which when on top of certain buildings, you can shoot anyone that goes to hack an objective. |
