So I had this super long feedback all written out about why, but I thought, who the hell is going to read that. So you get a couple bullets and if CCP staff would like my full thread with background demographics, details, etc , they can ask for it at [email protected]
The short of it is, I am buying less because:
- It takes too long for a causal player like myself to grind to cap (15+ hours)
- I feel irritated that I pay for an active boosters and end up losing bonus SP because life stops me from capping
- I have 21 million SP and it just feels boring and repetitive to do the same thing over and over again.
Things that I would spend real money on and get me interested in the game again:
- A subscription service that just takes care of all boosting and I never have to think about and never lose my boosted SP. This is a MUST have as I hate to feel like I'm losing something that I have paid RWM for.
- Unique ways to customize my suits, vehicles or experience
- Corp hubs / social ways for my corporation to interact.

I don't spend any money because I don't like to spend money in unfinished products. |

^^^I don't see how this comment is productive in the slightest^^^
Anyway onto the OP
1. I cant really comment on the SP cap, since I cap every week.
2. All mmos I know of work with 3 day, 7 day and monthly boosts. It's solely a money grab, and a necessary evil of an awesome free mmofps :).
3. I feel this is a sly way of crying for a respec option :|.
Onto your dot points:
1. Yes a membership option would be awesome, it could work kinda like Sony's Planetside 2 membership.
2. Just yes :D
3. Ow yes please :3
Though I crave more aesthetic options, all the racial weapons, suits and vehicles need to be released first. The membership option however should be implemented. |

I sort-of, agree but that is not a real problem, that is just part of how this game is, or any other game. What I think would be nice is a way to at least minimize the usage of the AB's just as you can do for other services (cable, some newspapers, etc) where if you are going to be gone for a long while, and you have a 30-day active, and something comes up where you can't play, you can at least slow it down for a period of time - say a minimum of a week, or more, at a time; where if you do go on, you are either penalized, or they do not work as an active (at all) during that period.
Yet even I have slowed down as it does take a long time, and doing the same things over and over without much change is getting a little boring.

#1 This may be an option, but another that wold satisfy me would be passive omega boosters as an additional full time option on the market. As I do not buy the Sony subscription, so why would I do that for a game. #2 Yes, I would like to see this become available. #3 YES!!! Especially to have a weapons stockroom/cache where only the owners/directors can divvy out the weapons from this area. I have a lot of "salvage" that I can't and won't use.
Another suggestion to add to this "Things that I would spend real money on and get me interested in the game again" list can be found at: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=105801&find=unread |

Awhile ago I posted an idea for a Booster that was basically a 30 day subscription. It would give you 3x passive and 0x active for 30 days...
If I remember correctly we get 24k passive and ~27k active a day for ~51k possible (unboosted) SP per day. Tack on boosters and we get ~76k possible (boosted) SP per day. With my booster idea you pay $20 bucks and put this booster in the passive slot. It makes you get 0x active SP but 3x passive so your making 76k passive a day.
So, for people like me (who play so infrequently due to my RL job) I would easily pay $20 a month for that. So would my wife. Right now I am not buying boosters because I play so infrequently that they aren't worth it. I am not going to sit down and play for 12 hours straight on the weekend to hit my cap. So, for my wife and I, CCP is losing $40 a month because they don't have this. And I doubt we are the only two.
If I could pay to not grind SP I would. And that would make this game so much more fun. |

Yep the only reason why IGÇÖm currently sitting on 200k Aurum; waiting for those tasty Omega Implants. If they were to be re-released upon the market, I know for a fact they would sell like the lie of cake from Portal.
I would spend all my Aurum and probably buy another Elite pack for another 200k Aurum. I know people who did just that when they were first on the market and still have 2 or 3 left to this day.
CCP you guys would be able to raise funding for everything youGÇÖve promised us and some over night! |
