Sounds to me more like an upcoming sleeper invasion in a future expansion. 514 days/ 1,5 year till we all turn to dust. The struggle for survival in EVE, will be fought on the planets below. Basicly its a warning for an upcoming war. We all know sleepers are in wormhole space, so its only a matter of time, till they start coming thrue them. Plus it did say in the book if they kept on using the sleeper tech, the sleepers would start fighting back in so many words. That's why they changed the tech to a better version of it, that and it made you insane. So it would be logical, that the sleepers start noticing what is happening, and simply declare war. They did something simular before, was it not the Incarna expansion, with the invasions. Except now it will be the sleepers. Now alott of people might say sleepers are jovians and yes they are, but they are more of a evil/insane branch of them, like Sansha's Nation, etc. So we would not be in war with the over powering Jovians, but with the sleepers them selfs. that and for CCP to come up with such a large expansion, would take them about 1,5 years give or take. To me this sounds like the more logical explanation, knowing CCP and EVE a bit. |
