If you use a medium frame suit and 3 melee damage mods you can do around 500HP damage. Why? cause thats how damage mods work. With hand to hand combat up to lvl5 the efficency of those biotiks increases by 50%. So a complex mod grants 75% increased melee damage. Fixing the "bug" wont really help you getting 1 hit killed. |

Stop sucking up to AE - you don't need too - I'm sure they'll recruit you since they can field a full team anymore. |

This is the melee glitch and can be done with no melee damage mods (high slots) It can just needs stamina (low slots) and sprinting mods (low Slots) allowing the user to use shields extenders (high slots) to remain very difficult to kill.
What you are talking about requires the user to use the high slots for damage mods and the low slots for the speed and stamina making this knifing tactic effective for sneak attacks but not head on because they will have very little HP. The melee glitch allows for head on assaults because they have enough HP to survive rushing the user and doing over 500 melee damage in a second. |

It would take you at least four swings to bring down my heavy. During that time I would **** you with my HMG.
With the melee glitch, you can swing four times instantly. So you would win the fight.
Big difference there. |

Well the problem is the spamability of it, not the actual damage. I can dodge a melee attack no problem, it's when they're sprinting at you karate chopping 3 times a second that you can't dodge or do much about it because the melee has a built-in lock on that literally turns your screen towards the person. |

I haven't figured out how it's a glitch other than Ari is constantly running, thats the glitch, two complex cardiacs would give it hela stamina, my scout has almost 1000 stamina with two which allows me to punch repeatedly , it's the constant speed that's the glitch, somebody said on a post it's the scanner , you sprint somehow by breaking the animation an it locks you in a sprint, she's not holding a gun when she/he/dude does this.
It's similar to the knive charge sprint ( uses stamina but knives stay charged) what ARI is doing is not a melee glitch it's a speed glitch, the steady punching works as intended by sprint punch repeated, but her stamina doesn't drop other wise she would walk after killing, I'm a scout I can't duplicate the stamina glitch but that's how it's being done.
If it was a melee glitch she would have no gas to run unless its 3 complex cardiacs an a kinetic an kbm, that's the only way it could be fair, I wouldn't call it a melee glitch it's a stamina glitch |

I know the melee glitch, I rarely use it but have found a melee PLC combo thats fun, they get caught in the splash if you miss than melee a couple times I need to get my melee dmg mods up! |

first of all.... this glitch allows you to do that much damage without damage mods. They can fill those slots with whatever they want. By your logic, these guys found a way to cheat the system and make it like they have several extra slots.... |

Have ever actually done the math?
110 base damage.
3 Complex Myofibrils will do +183% melee damage after stacking penalties.
110 * 2.83 = 311.3
So where did you get 500 from again? |

For example you got 3 of the complex damage mods that are unlocked with the "hand to hand combat" skill (or whatever it is called). So every one of those damage mods grants you 75% damage increased damage with melee. Lets see what happends when you use 3 on a medium frame suit (110Hp base damage) 110X1.75X1.75X1.75=589HP damage per hit. (around 500HP with stacking penalty) And yes i know about the "glitch". |

Yeah like others have mentioned. Its not the OHK with maxed damage mods thats being abused. Its the hit/cancel that is.
Using the glitch you don't need anything beyond a Stamina mod or two, allowing you to still load up on Shields, Armor, etc.
Someone using most or all their high slots for Melee Mods deserves the OHK because sneazing in their direction will take them out. |

Its a glitch because you are not supposed to be able to repeatedly melee that fast. The glitch allows for a fully auto melee. There's a reason that the mass driver, forge gun, shotgun etc. are not full auto, there is supposed to be an interval between each melee attempt but the glitch allows cancelling that interval. |
