Just went 14/3 with my cheapo nova scout, mostly knife kills.
Dragonfly Scout 15k isk.

Yesterday pulled 24/12 with it in a skirmish against TP + pure innocence, I think.
Tactics:
Find stragglers and knife them. If you get spotted throw all three flux and start shooting md and vanish in a puff of smoke. Flank around while they are looking for you and knife some more or use the opportunity and make your escape to knife another day.
This relies on the suits 45 db base profile vrs the 55 scan resolution and 50 scan resolution of medium basic and medium logis respectively to make dis-engaging and stealthing the enemies possible.
It's not a pure NK fit, but fits my style.
The fit is designed around EHPDPS meta currently out. With a very low EHP on my fit, I realized quickly that my suit would never survive long enough to apply its dps in most encounters. Many fights between skilled players that I've seen have come down to within 10 hit points of the victors armor, sometimes the victor escapes with 0/0 shields and armor! That's in suits with around 900 hp, my lowly scout is dredging along with a base 110 armor.
The fit is focused on knives, but my support weapon had to be changed. In spray and pray duels, the high HP difference caused me to rely on alpha, hopefully I can spike enough damage to either kill the enemy (I preferred to use the shotgun, but with 1/5 shots not even registering I decided on something a bit more trusty - splash and body shots). I was already using my m1 locus grenades to devastating effect, getting double and triple kills in matches, especially in communications outpost. So, I decided that flux would be a test grenade, (I still love my m1s) and I would run MD for spike damage and suppression.
I run my MD as my side-arm while my main are my knives. |

Plain md no proficiency?,
Honestly I have a hard time using a dragonfly after usin a mini, try a militia mini , u probably can't fit the same gear, but if u can get a mtl sg an adv knives an red green on it I think you'll dig it |

I have md op level 3, no proficiency. I run the vanilla md.
I'll fit up a minmatar light later and see what I can do with it |
