CCP I would really like a answer on this. Known individuals that keep abusing this bug and others that may be trying to get into it at the moment. Can we expect any action t be taken against such players? Do we have to just suck it up and take some losses?

Isn't there something somewhere saying that exploiting the use of bugs is a no go
I mean it's protecting your game 101. You don't leave people unpunished because so many people can get tired of getting abused by a [BUG] with games like GTAV around the corner and FF14 released. Not to mention another brand new console just around the corner, you would think CCP would be protecting the interest of this game to those who are playing it.
I really hope soon we get some kind of response, preferably a real answer, not just some fancy words jumbled up to be passed as a response. |

Can anyone inform me as to what exacly is this melee glitch? I have no intention to use or abuse of it but i'm kind of clueless and i want to refrain from accidently doing it. |

CCP, I think we deserve something on this issue of people purposely abusing known issue with game. Specially when that person is using it in Tournament matches. |

CCP has only said thus far that the bug is not that easy to fix. Sheesh people, give it a rest and let them do their jobs. You knowing what theyre going to do will not help in them fixing the problem in anyway. The need for instant gratification on these forums is ridiculous. |

Um, sorry but this is unacceptable for people participating in the tournament against a team that is using known bugs to win tournament matches. |

how will it be hard to prove? This game must have some sort of ingame control logging? I create ingame logs that only I as a programmer can see. I can log them with time stamps and what buttons they press. This glitch is repeatable and follows a consistent set of actions. All you need to do is search for a specific pattern..... |

Video proof has been show several times. And it's VERY easy to show someone exploiting it - who does 1100 dmg with melee instantly? It's almost a OHK. |

SoTa is right. You can tell because in the video he runs up on 3 dudes at the end and it appears he one shots them but it says damage dealt 900+ there is no way you can melee twice in that short time. Unless you are using the bug. |

doesn't matter. it is a known exploit and in the game rules using exploits is a bannable offence. |

It's a user activated one. No one has to use this glitch unless they want too - simple as that. You find it - go, "oh hey I can get a huge advantage exploiting this!" and do so. Nothing else needs to be said about it to call whoever uses it cheaters. |

I think this is correct as what SoTa also said. You can't accidentally do it, no way, no how. You have to purposely be doing this for the bug to be abused. In that case you know exactly what you are doing every time you do it. |

BTW, anyone using an exploit of any kind in a competitive atmosphere such as PC is simply scum. No two ways about it. It is cheating and shows a lack of moral compass. Bans are certainly warranted, considering the rules clearly state using an exploit is bannable. |
