OK! who here has a EVE acc and plans on farming ISK in EVE for your duster?
lets face it - ISK transfers between DUST & EVE would just destroy the DUST 514 economy
so i purpose that a DUST character can only receive about 1 million a week from a EVE character
it can work out as a allowance system and for corporations........
a EVE character should be only be able to donate around 5 million a week if the CEO is a dust character - if the CEO is a eve character then they will still have the transfer cap to give money to a single duster
just my 2 ISK on this, thoughts? |

It's already been discussed as a tax. If you give 1 mil from EVE to Dust, Dust would only recieve 100k or something. |

Dust's entire economy is going to need a rework at some point. It's just too screwed up right now to fit into EVE. |

the economy has already been destroyed, vets all got a small fortune ages ago, letting isk flow between the 2 games is actually 1 thing that might revive things around here.
Hell, money talks, if i can bounce an easy 10b from my eve main to get 2 corps to fight to the death for lols, who is the loser here?
There is no PvE in dust, PC is restricted and reading what the top end say, completely broken, making isk in this game is an unbareable grind so to hell with caps, let the isk rain down on us and ****, we might not see so many redlining bitches protecting there lil isky accounts. |

just my 2 ISK on this, thoughts? This won't be an issue. Full integration without taxes or caps will in no way hurt Dust.
Don't listen to those idiots from back in the Closed Beta either. ISK on Tranquility is actually worth something. When we flooded our characters with billions of ISK back last year, we were getting the ISK from Singularity's market, where everything, no matter what it is, is set to 100 ISK.
- Buy Freighter
- Undock Freighter
- Dreadnaught in Siege Mode on undock one-shots Freighter
- Transfer full insurance payout to Dust character
You can't do that in EVE. You could dump ISK into your Dust character all you want, but the gear you can use is dependent upon the skills you've trained, and your ability to fight is based on your skill as a player.
One of our directors has more ISK than anyone I've ever known, to the point where he can fit all his ships with Officer modules without batting an eye.
He's still a terrible combat pilot. |

Foley Jones wrote:well was worth shooting as a idea :/ guess i need to be even more careful on what i suggest Just like Maken Tosch said, the reason we don't have any currency exchange right now is due to CCP being fully aware of how either or both games could be broken by this issue.
There will be a heavy tax at first, to try and get everything stable, and then eventually transfer will be un-taxed, and all Dust assets will be made by EVE players just like everything else. |

I reckon, you could probably scale ISk in EVE and Dust like this:
Most routine PVE method in EVE nets you about 20-40mil an hour on average, i.e. running level 4 missions solo.
In Dust, it would be about 600-1mil ISK per hour running skirmishes, and 800-1.2mil running Ambush and so on.
Then you balance it out with a 90-95% 'tax' or however the income scales. Of course if PVE were in place, then you could probably use that to scale the ISK value differences.
However, another factor is the 'value' of ISK, where 10mil in EVE is a well fitted t2 frigate, where as 10mil in Dust is about 50-60 well fitted PROTO suits. So you'd have to factor that in as well. |
