There was a CSM summit but I don't think there was any CPM summit. |

I think they were signed in. IWS said he had to get to bed last night to attend, while he was on IRC. |

Attended, lots of stuff and lots of insightful stuff for New Eden. CPM was kind to ask a few questions on the CPM's behalf and quite a bit internal talking to between the two sides. CPM had an attendee only role during today's summit as most topics today of concern do not involve Dust 514's development 'directly'. Tomorrow may have an option to talk as its going to be a long session about Dust 514 however that is up to the Curators of the summit.
Due to the nature of the summit, however there won't be anything to share about it until the minutes are out which generally takes about 3 month process because it goes through quite a few people before getting signed off. Hell I don't even think I would be allowed to repeat jokes that came from it.
I'll see about getting a post of all of the previous CSM summits linked so you guys can see what sort of information gets summarized as the developers blow through it all over an entire work day in three days.
For now you'll have to settle for the last one you can read about here.

Previous one was a bit shortened due to Dust 514 segment being segregated and removed for later publishing if I recall right. |

The funny thing is I figure you are serious about the jokes thing. Some of the notes I've read from previous ones sounds like the editors are excited to share humorous quips from exchanges. |

Has ccp shown any interest to have a summit specific for dust and the cpm rather then just sitting at the side of the csm summit and hoping you get a turn to talk?? |

The CSM summit is primarily with Eve devs, who are for the most part pretty separate from the Dust devs from the Shanghai office. By the sounds of things we are still a long way off from the point that a CPM could have a productive summit. |

Eve Summits have had limited sessions we on the CPM have been able to join in and listen in, and offer points to the CSM to bring up. While we're both under NDA, we're not given carte blanche to know everything they tell the CSM. CCP operates on a 'need to know' basis, and there's a lot of things that are strictly eve-related and have no real bearing on dust :(
There is a plan for a Dust summit, but there's no point in planning the summit itself until we've settled on the charter and whitepaper of what the CPM will be doing for CCP Shanghai. After that stuff is settled, we can properly push for an agenda and the teams that we should be talking to, and for how long, etc. to do the most good in the short time allotted for a summit.
Like IWS said, this stuff is all super NDA and while the CSM will be releasing minutes whenever they get around to getting them out and CCP approves them... There's not much we can talk about until then. Most of the dust stuff should be released by CCP here on the forums or in dev blogs before the minutes come out, as nothing we heard /so far/ was super futuretalk and we should be seeing that stuff sooner rather than later, as most of the time in the sessions was bringing the CSM up to speed on things they've already told the CPM.

Nova's correct. The CSM is who you need to prod for all information summit-related, they're in charge of the minutes which are the first official communications about the contents of the summit. Everyone will have to hang tight until it goes through that process.
CPM will get its own summit, someday, but we have other things to get off the ground in the meantime, and even once CCP's ready for a summit with us - its still no cakewalk to visa's for a place like China anyways. All that to say, our participation in the CSM summit here is more of an observer role (so we have the EVEside context for what CCP is working on) ....not CCP's way of getting out of planning a summit with the CPM proper. |
