Hey!
As a 6x skill the *Weapon* Fitting Optimization gives no real benefit.
That is because it only reduces PG which is a low numeric stat on weapons.
Either change it to -5% PG & -5% CPU requirement per level or lower the skill multiplier to 3x.
This way you have more benefit per spent skillpoint.
What do you think?

this skills is useless it use to provide a reduction to cpu which was but with the change to pg its a waste of sp
ill use AR as example 90 cpu 13 pg
currently the skill brings down pg requirements at lvl from 13 to 10 wow a whole 3 pg i worked it out at 2.6 think the game rounds up from .5
with the old cpu reduction 90cpu minus lvl 5 skill brings cpu to 72 this was is is still more benificail especially to minmatar fitting ive never once run out of powergrid first no mater what i fit on the suit but in order to full tank any lvl suit with the equivalent lvl mods u need a cpu mod in the lows
current fit
minmatar medium frame vk0 (not the assault spec version)
5x complex shield extenders 550 shields
1x complex shield regulator 25% reduction to delay
1x complex cpu upgrade
1x dovolle AR
1x toxin smg
basic nano
m1 locus granades
if i pull the cpu mod ive ive got to drop the weapon to a gek or lose a chunk of hp compared to some of the other racail suits even tho its faster (not by much imo) theres no way to have a decent weapon/sidearm + tank with it total ehp is little over 700 the other races dont seam to sacrifice tank for damage or is it just me
if anyone has a better way to fit this please enlighten me |

I agree with this being a total waste as of now. Whether it is/was planned for something in the future, I won't be spending any time placing SP on this for my scout. Just as I won't for other options that do not benefit me on a more equitable level (Sniper rapid Reload or Sniper Ammo Capacity.)
I'm waiting for a couple of other areas that are going to be changed in 1.4 and 1.5, just to see if it will be worth the time/sp. |

But what about us armor tankers? PG is far more useful to us than it is to shield tankers. And there is a skill that lowers CPU usage for weapons(it unlocks things and is cheaper as well). Its working as intended. Also the prototype SCR uses 20 PG, that means each level in optimization is 1 PG for the SCR, that is significant. |

Its just you, nobody is meant to be able to fit all proto and complex modules and stuff. That is why the Callogi was OP. You're fitting seems normal to me, you have a good fitting but have to make some sacrifices ( CPU module ) to get it. I can't fit a Prototype Weapon on my suit without severely sacrificing my tank. This is normal.
Edit: You're in a Minmatar suit, they sacrifice a bit of tank for some speed compared to the other races, you're not meant to tank. |
