I think most tankers would agree that we need this as soon as possible. I just didn't participate in a match at all because a blue dot wouldn't get out my tank. This needs to be in as soon as possible. |

You kidding, 1.4 is in a week. Everything is locked, there's no changing it now. 1.5 is the as soon as possible.
Also why would having a blue dot in your tank prevent you from participating? I can understand wanting to remove small turrets for more CPU/PG, but right now since you have to have them anyways what downside does having a teammate in your tank bring? |

Ah, good point. I am not entirely found of the idea of how instantaneous recalls are in the first place, but that is a valid complaint. Rather than simply removing the turrets it would be nice to simply recall whenever which would trigger an automatic "force exit" for passengers.

As I've said before, they're the type of people that shoot at everything, anything and nothing, and give the enemy team this big, delicious square to throw things at. Like if I'm low on armor and sitting behind a wall repping, the idiot would get me found out and if there's any reds nearby with anything that can damage a tank, odds are I'll get destroyed. They'll also shoot at installations before I'm ready to deal with them. They shoot at the MCC when the small turrets have maybe 1/5 the range required to hit it. |

Rather than implementing a forced exit and risk letting blueberries get in your drivers seat, if only for a moment, it would be better to introduce vehicle locks. Those are definitely needed. |

Also your vehicle should remain locked and stationary for say 10 seconds after requesting a recall before it is "cloaked and taken by cloaked RDV" that way there is more risk involved with doing an emergency recall of your near dead HAV in the middle of an intense fight. |

Agreed. Though vehicle locking should certainly come first. |

CCP like the idea of vehicle locking and I think they put it in the works (I think) but yea, this will single handedly fix a lot of vehicle-side grief. They also considered the idea of the RDV coming and taking your ride when recalled which would mean that you would have to wait for the RDV to fly in, hook onto the vehicle, then fly off. You would have to be at a valid area for the RDV to get to it. (So don't try hiding in a garage)
`Sigh. Just another fun game of DUST. |
