Just a few things I think CCP should implement or consider with the new vehicle ammo capacity "feature."
1. Add more supply depots.
Currently, there are usually only 1-2 per map (outside the redline). If vehicles want to be useful, ammo should always be within a reasonable distance (assuming they haven't been destroyed). There should be about one per null cannon point, one less if it's in the city.
2. Increase AoE for vehicle resupply.
Due to the fast pace of this game, precision when driving a tank or flying a dropship could be given some leniency. Also, some of the current supply depots are in positions where it is impossible for vehicles to reach them.
3. Add some shield repair benefit to supply depots.
Shield vehicles get the short end of the stick when it comes to vehicles, and supply depots are no exception. As most know, supply depots give 100 armour hp/sec. when close enough. WIth supply depots becoming a key pivot for vehicles due to ammo constraints, shield vehicles should receive some benefit as well. I propose doubling or tripling the shield regeneration rate, though there may be other alternatives.
4. Vehicle beneficial nanohives or similar vehicle deployable devices.
The idea is to give vehicles away from supply depots a means to somewhat resupply. I won't go into statistics, because I'm not good with that sort of thing, but I hope you get the gist of what I'm saying with this point. Two things I'd like to emphasize: Make them discernible from infantry hives somehow, either on the minimap or HUD, and make them taller/ half-football shaped as opposed to hemispheres so dropships don't need to get too close to the ground to get in them. |

I don't think any of these are good ideas, adding more supply depots devalue their usefulness and I am sure that CCP will make nanohives repair vehicle ammo, if your really worried about ammo request that repair tools repair ammo. Also its bad enough that Armor doesn't get a passive repair, giving shield vehicles another means of repair, after getting high passive repair and the highest active repairer will make them borderline OP, honestly I think shield vehicles will regain OP status like they had pre-uprising after 1.5. |

I have to agree with BL4CK. Adding more supply depots just undermines their importance. The only time there should be more is when district owners finally get to decide what to put into their districts and at what arrangement. |

Vehicles are getting an ammo limit? When/where was this mentioned?
If so then I suspect that tankers will think twice b4 destroying the supply depots (so annoying).
