Lets say there was an alliance that took up most of Molden Heath and was using its economic efficiency and production rate, not to have fun, but to failblock.
Failblocking- failblocking is when a few organized corps get together, recognizing that they don't have the combined talent or courage to take on a stronger enemy, to tie up their districts in a mutually assured defensive attack/counter-attack. Thereby minimally exposing their districts to hostile more damaging enemy attacks. It requires much less manpower or effort than normal district defensive operations, at the cost of a much lower production rate.
Failblocking is a disgrace to the effor of the corps and alliance members that paid the dues and the time to get such an organization or alliance to the place it is or was.
Fighting the Failblock
With my limited knowledge of the PC mechanics a major assumption (that could be wrong) is that anyone who is in a PC corp can join a battle in that corp once the battle is active, then anyone in the warbarge can also invite anyone else...? If these two conditions are true, the the way to fight failblocking is with Awoxing...
Find some members of the evil empire who can be paid off, or are sick of their leadership. Get them to join a failblocking-battle as it is active and invite as many other players as possible. Any newly joining players should invite other players as quickly as possible faster than director can delete joining players.
If they can keep this up until a battle starts then they can deploy with the defending corp they can throw the match in an extremely detrimental way by just suiciding. However, if they join with the attacking corp, which would normally just sit in the MCC after the defenders take the objectives, then they could instead, actually put up a fight in order to force a clone loss and a district lock on the defenders.
The ultimate result is dischord within a failblocking corp, griefing of the leadership who must maintain the warbarge prior to battle, and hopefully some successful Awoxing ops that degrade the failblock's efficiency. |

Can't anyone in a PC corp join an active PC battle? Or do you have to be in a director's squad or something? |

You can join a active PC battle but a director can kick you out if you aren't allowed |

That's what I thought. So you get person A to join, and they invite as many as they can, and they all spam invites, so hopefully you have more joining than the director can kick. Their only alternative is to field a full team, which if they don't have the numbers they can't do... |

So districts can only be taken if there is someone there to defend them, and if you make agreements with neighboring corps you dont have to defend at all?

They can be taken even if nobody shows up to defend. |
