I use 4 complex shield, CRG shotgun, CORE locus nades, enhanced ferroscale plates, militia armor repair, k-2 nanohive.
I use the proto caldari medium suit. I am working on biotics right now.
Any tips? I don't even know much about headshots and where to aim.
EDIT. Best I did was 37/3 ambush but that was against no name corps. I want to go as good as Renollisa. |

part of the shotguns downfall is you usually have to be close to get shots off. having that oomph of speed helps alot getting in and getting out.
depending on how they are moving i aim at the chest and in front if they are coming at me, behind them if moving away. honestly, the hit detection is so terrible sometimes that you'll find no matter how you plant your shots it won't matter. |

Don't shoot for the head, the spread of a shotgun is such that it's never worth it.
IDK how seasoned of a FPS player you are, so if this is old news to you just ignore it, but try to "aim" using mostly the left stick / movement. Since it's a shotgun, you don't need bullet-hose consistency, you just need to nail 1-3 body shots. It's much easier to strafe and try to "sync" your shots with your strafe alignment than to try to strafe and continuously aim in CQC at the same time. This will also ensure that you're always strafing and dodging, making you survive way longer. It'll feel weird at first but once you get the hang of it you'll find your accuracy improves drastically. |

Sometimes I wait around corners. It's hilarious to see people throw nades after me and after I just don't show myself they think it's safe to go and check it out. I had tried to learn on my own and kind try to put the shotgun right on the neck of my target so I get a headshot sound and a little bit of a chest shot but I don't know if it's actually working.
And has anyone seen a shotgun guide in rookie grounds? I can't seem to find one. |

a good side arm. sometimes the shotgun just isn't reliable enough and stubbornly continuing to dump rounds that do no damage will get you killed more than switching to an SMG to finish them off.
also as many have noted. center of mass is your target. :) |
