I list them as such
Prototype minimatar scout suit with massdriver and knives is named (PMS - MD/NOVA)
Where as my Advanced scout suit with plasma cannon and flaylock is named (AMS - PC/FLAY)
etc.
I have 16 suit combos currently |

Minmatar Logi with Charge Rifle and 3 complex damage mods 5 prof damage=50 cal
same with Kakaaliotaa whatever rifle=PSG-1
same suit diff set-up with rep tool, needle, uplinks= Doc Holliday
Heavy with MH-82=Machine Gun Kelly
Heavy with Forge=Machine Gun Charlie
Basic run of the mill Minmater suit with uplink only=Driver (for tank, drpship, LAV)

I name my stuff with the type of drop suit, the weapon, an indicator of modules and the carried equipment.
For example:
Basic m.0 KSR DDD L
Means basic proto Minmatar suit, Kalakiota sniper rifle, 3 complex damage mods and locus grenades.
My names are strictly functional and I have dozens. It helps me keep track and grab the one I need quickly.

I used to put 36K GLU.
then I stopped using the GLU and it's just called 35K or some ****...

I used to do creative names for all my fittings, then it started getting a bit annoying to find my fits so I adopted a boring naming scheme,
ADV Commando LR - my advanced commando with assault scrambler rifle and laser rifle
ADV Commando SR - my advanced commando with assault scrambler rifle and normal scrambler rifle
ADV Commando SW - my advanced commando with scrambler rifle and swarm launcher
ADV Assault SR - my advanced assault with scrambler rifle
ADV Assault ASR - my advanced assault with assault scrambler rifle
ADV Assault LR - my advanced assault with laser rifle
STD Commando LR - my standard commando with assault scrambler rifle and laser rifle
STD Commando SR - my standard commando with assault scrambler rifle and normal scrambler rifle
STD Commando SW - my standard commando with scrambler rifle and swarm launcher
STD Assault SR - my standard assault with scrambler rifle
STD Assault ASR - my standard assault with assault scrambler rifle
STD Assault LR - my standard assault with laser rifle
STD Heavy FG - my standard heavy with forge gun

May delete all my standard fits as I pretty much never use them. Original thought process was to keep them in case I need a cheap 8k ISK suit when getting pub stomped, but I have so much ISK that I don't care wasting my 35k ISK suits. |

Sniper build = Death
AV build = Destruction
Heavy build = Chaos
Defender build = War
The sniper build feels awesome in the Gallente basic/proto all-black suit. Much better than the "Hey, look at me!" assault/advanced suit that sticks out like a sore thumb on my alt. |

Surgeon: Breach Mass Driver & damage mods on a minmatar light. Dedicated to sneaking up on armour tanks and hitting their weakspot. Surprisingly effective.
Back in Chromosome I had the most OP Viziam fitting imaginable. I named it Zantetsuken  |

My main fit is something like this
LOG2 (602) aSCR/SMG/Hiv/pAV 40
"LOG" is logistics (its Amarr), "2" is ADV (MLT=0, STD=1, ADV=2, PRO=3), "602" is the total HP, "aSCR" is assault scrambler rifle, "Hiv" is nanohive, "pAV" is packed AV grenades, and "40" is 40K ISK pricetag. I don't remember the actual total HP and pricetag, so just used some numbers that are close as example. |

I do the same, I put the restock value of the suit in the name...
I also number them so that you can quickly and easily change the order of your suits in how they appear ...
1. Logi MD Uplink 35k
2. Logi Duvolle 60k
3. DF Uplink 7k
etc etc |
