anyone remember it,
I played it last night, still good. at the time it was said that the weapon sounds were the most realistic yet,
and after playing last night they still are, why don't new games sound like that....
its a pleasure to squeeze the trigger, the bangs and echo's are supreme.

Black is one of my all time favorites. It was really nice for that gen of console too. Great graphics and sound plus destructible environments. That shower room fight in the asylum is amazing. All that exploding plaster and dust.
I had that entire game memorized at one point. I was obsessed. |

I just cant get over the sound.... I nearly fell back off my bed (ps2 in bedroom ) when I pulled the trigger ...
I was shocked, its been a long time and devs don't try to hit that level of realism now.. |

That game was great. I gotta check if I stll got it.
Dudes shooting rpgs at the same time the shield guys and shotgunners are coming at you.
Even the raining bullets/shells on the opening screen was cool. |

When the game was in production, the devs actually went out to the desert to fire all the guns that were in the game. They had a first-hand account of how the guns were supposed to feel and sound.

i love guns to, i was in army and I wish my gun sounded like that, ok the real thing was louder, but that's my point it nearly defend me, but black is how we would like guns to sound, its like that shootout in heat, perfect..... turn up the volume and enjoy.
never mind the bad guys I just love shooting this thing, I their was a button to make kiss and rub the thing while going ohh baby...

balck was the final testiment to how good the playstation 2 is and bringing such a great game up only makes me think about how better it is then dust lol. |

BLACK is probably one of my all time favorite FPS's of all time. I still remember not being able to beat Minggus Sabander. My god that level was a bi*ch to complete.I can't imagine what its like on the hardest difficulty. :P
Also, BLACK 2 was apparently in development. |
