Maybe if you couldn't fire, make it for cover only. Keeps it useful with out adding a while lot of grief. |

The parenthetical is unnecessary; this is the forum for a FPS, I'm sure we all know what prone means. Also, search fro existing topics before you post, this is the 3rd thread I've seen in a week. |

I can see it now... Tons of kids doing the dolphin dive and then jumping back up again, rinse & repeat, because its CoD 514 after all, and not only are we not able to predict where they are going to land, we also lack the ability to aim down in this game. |

Yeah, NO I don't want to harken back to the days of MAG whereby snipers just flopped down on any set of stairs they felt like and block the whole area off because friendly troops can't walk thru each other like they can enemies. |

Prone is a great idea. I hate when I am sniping and I am exposed because I have to kneel. Everyone knows you are a better shot when prone versus kneeling. That is why snipers go prone vs kneeling. |

This is what I want but only for light suits. Heavy suits make no sense to be able to do anything useful prone and mediums seem like they would also have difficulty while prone.
Maybe have mediums take a penalty for prone at least.
Snipers (actual snipers not silly FGers) could go prone in a light suit; however, they can still be shot as if in the crouched position with maybe a minor penalty. |

The game is slow paced and riddled with camping spots high up all over the place.
Do we really want a game with even more headglitching and perhaps even drop shooting?
