i know it would be easily earned WP but here's my points on this
1. We waste ammo of our weapons/grenades to destroy it
2. How often does someone get killed while being distracted with destroying it
3. Would encourage 'blueberrys' to actually do something about a.Uplinks b.Remote Explosives
the WP could be mininal for it, just add an incentive
i could add more but with this being a discussion forum I am sure someone will add their own input |

3) blueberries need to learn he game what's stopping you from letting them know that uplinks are destructable??
As a support sniper I agree that equipment kills should provide some minimal wp as we need another way to gain wp beyond kills. Taking out uplinks is easy with a sniper but I wish they'd fix the rendering on nanos or at least gave us a red dot to know we're actually on the hive. |

WP should be earned for equipment destruction. The level of WP would need to be tuned but the award per destruction should likely be fairly minimal.
Equipment should also be hackable provided you have a Codebreaker of equal or higher level equipped at the time.

I think they are implementing this in 1.5. I'm too lazy to look up where a dev said that, but if anyone can cite it I'd appreciate that. |

+1 to the OP. This would be a relatively easy fix and I think i saw the Dev's mention it as part of the planned WP fixes for 1.5.
I think we need to add counter-hacking to the WP fix list as well. Takes longer, which equals more risk and for zero points. I actually am ok with the longer re-hack time but would like a small bump in WPs for the re-hack...say 10-15% extra.

Punch it or use nova knives 1 shot destruction. |

re-hacking equipment would be awesome, and at least then you would get a benefit from it (ammo/spawn point) even if they dont add WP for it we could still gain something
as with all things we shall wait and see

Sorry, I see little gain from the bother. Most require 200hp or so to destroy. Hardly a big enough effort to give a reward for. When sniping I pop them if I have reasonable access to a Hive. I like restricting the Reds' options.
Lacking situational awareness will always get you killed. Even if your target is a 2WP Red Hive versus the 0WP Red Hive you were discussing.
Take it from a programmer. No silver bullet exists, and software is the land of the silver bullet theory. Minimum WP for these will not change a Blue Belle into a warrior overnight, if ever.
Watching you play the game well is the only thing that changes their views. Of course, simply swearing at them in Team chats just gets 'Disable Voice' as the default and they learn nothing. |

Also on the list for when the release the granular WP system, I am presuming this is what they're rolling out for 1.5 but do not have confirmation of that. |
