OK, I have been wonderig what would happen if a vehicle somehow got 100% armor or shield resistance. Would they be invincible? I saw someone in alliance chat say they had 107% LAV armor resistance, so I figured I would ask other dust bunnies. Thx. |

That's not how resistances work. Your alliance member is mistaken. When you add a resistance module, it applies the percentage to the 'vulnerable' remaining percentage of the resistance bar.
Essentially, if you had 30% base resistance, and you added a 10% resistance module, 10% of 70% would be put onto your resistance, leading to you having 37% resistance.
With this it becomes impossible to reach 100% resistance, as however many resistance modules you stack you'll never quite reach 100%. |

Thanks for the reply. i had a guy in one of my alts corp say he had 80% passive resist and he didnt believe me about stacking penalties, he 1 got 1 or 2 hit by lai dais and and uninstalled the game, havent seen him on since because he thinks theres too many "HACKERS" |

even if you fitted 5 25% active resistance mods you would only get 59.01% resistance w/ 10% skill added also. ^ thats on armor for the 30%x 5(w/ 10% skill) you only would have grand total of 65.79% resistance |
