Having read and indeed created multiple solutions to the clear matchmaking and stomping issues and often having the same boring and inherently flawed counter arguments to every single solution to the issue from people who seem to actually either A.Want this game to die or B.Don't want to lose newberrys from their gamemodes as they wouldn;t be able to stomp them and improve their KD's There is only 1 true solution ..
A gamemode I have nicknamed ' Combat Manoeuvres'
-Players are given access to every single piece of militia equipment including every weapon and suit type
-They can create any dropsuit/vehicle combination they like based on the CPU and PG of the suit/vehicle they choose eg they could try a militia sniper rifle on a militia Heavy suit and various mods if the mods don;t go over the CPU and PG limit of that suit and also get access to new militia AV and Flux grenades
-SP that players have specced have no affect at all in this gamemode EG if someone has 10m in core skills or lv5 electronics it has no affect in this gamemode it's based on the suit and module stats and those alone thus negating any advantage for those ppl who like to stomp new players in terms of SP advantage
-You can only create 3 loadouts at any one time for use in this gamemode however you can change the makeup of these suits freely
-There is no reward at all for taking part, winning or indeed getting kills in this gamemode as it gives you no ISK or SP for taking part and has no affect on your K/D ratio this mode is purely intended to be a Training mode/a gamemode for ppl to test their skills and improve their skills on an equal footing
-You can't enter this gamemode in a pre formed squad but can form squads when matched up
There may be a few other points I haven;t included but this is the core of the idea and if I see any TL;DR after putting this in plain and simple bullet points then you can go fck yourself xD
This gamemode is to give new players and those ppl sick of being stomped by proto bears an outlet to get away from them and actually play a gamemode that is solely based on having fun .. there is no reward whatsoever for for stomping in this gamemode and by removing any advantage that can be gained by having SP it will lead to more balanced matches .. obviously there will always be those people who are better/more experienced doign well however in a gamemode like this if you go 0-10 and see someone go 20-1 you know that the reason they did so well is because they are more experienced at the game and know the mechanics rather than 'they have 20m sp full proto everything i'll never ever catch them up' it is 'they are better at the game than me but if i play more and improve i'll be able to get ratios like that'
The Vets have PC so I think it's about time everyone else got a gamemode like this, the current academy is absolutely appalling and 2k WP is pathetic and its hardly surprising so many players leave this current event is the single worst event you could've possibly done it is basically rewarding people for proto stomping in pub games so grats once again CCP but anyway this gamemode should be a next step from the academy to allow new players to test out various weapons and loadouts to get a feel for the game and decide what route they want to go down BEFORE speccing into anything and this should appease the Evetards who go down the every action should have a consequence rubbish
I've seen alot of militia gear modes but I havent seen any that actually address the issue at hand whereas this does |

Worst idea I've ever read.
Since you don't get SP new player or casual players better not go there, since they'll make no progress with there character. Protos wouldn't go there either. Best mode ever. |

Face people in a gamemode like this and see how good you really are ... afterall it's purely for fun and lets face it after capping SP during the times PC isn;t on what else is their to do ? Go around stomping pub games turning new players away ? Why not go fight v those new players and indeed some other ppl who've capped for the week in a gamemode where you can use any weapon try out various loadouts all with access to the same gear and level of equipment ? Yes please .. |

Try reading the post .... this is something to do AFTER you've capped / If you've just been redlined 3 games in a row v protobears and feel like having fun
Honestly if your are planning on making a comment this ******** please don;t bother .. the whole idea of this mode is TO TURN PROTOS AWAY FROM THIS GAMEMODE and give new players somewhere to play to test out weapons and loadouts BEFORE they spec into things .. it is basically the academy onyl difference is you can CHOOSE to play in it rather than being forced out after a few games |

New players will still have to get stomped on in public matches if this game mode gives no SP or ISK. So what does your solution solve?
EDIT: Oh and the Academy gives SP and ISK. |

Or instead of programming such a gamemode lower the SP multiplier of dropsuits so that instead of costing 2.4M SP they cost 500K-1M SP therefore reducing the grind from 2 months to 1 month, or 2 weeks if a new player doesn't spend all his SP. Keep in mind a Prototype dropsuit isn't insta win, you also need passive skills which are much more powerful than a suit. |

Well I for one like your idea, a match that isn't full of try hard proto terminators trying to ruin things for everyone else. |

You completely miss the point don;t you ... This game mode is for FUN .. you know .. the reason people go out and buy a PS3 in the 1st place .. FUN .. ENJOYMENT ... have you ever considered that some people dont play this game to grind sp and ISK for months on end whilst being protostomped and would actually just liek to play a balanced and fun game with a group of people who have access to the same gear with no sp advantages ??? Obviously you have no idea what fun is so I wont bother explaining any further
This gamemode is to give those players tired of being pubstomped a gamemode to go and play to enjoy and to deter the scrubs who are set on making sure no one has fun but them away from the game mode by giving no rewards |

This
It sounds like the Academy, except worse. Better players won't participate as there is no incentive to. Crappy players will practice here but still be grossly unprepared for the real game, and worse still they won't of actually made any SP for their efforts. |

I like that idea. I play strictly as a sniper. I would love a place I could try other suits and load outs on an even skill level withts. If i would like to spec into something else, this would allow me to try different roles to see which one I like before I invest SP. Thumbs up for this idea! |
