Man I had so many epic wins and devastating losses on that map, and even when redlined it was still a grand battle to break free. I had my first Dust 514 40+ kill game on that map (40+ non OP missile spam kill game that is lol), it had a GREAT placement for Alpha Bravo and Charlie, it had SUCH a great atmosphere with the ashy grey tones it had, the sniper hills were all super high but accessible to anyone willing to climb them from any direction, there was a great plateau-like landing on the road that lead from the north-end base to Bravo, there was that trench you had to fight your way through in order to get from Charlie to Alpha unless you wanted to take the uber exposed roadway, there was an AWESOME spire zone in the open area south of Charlie, the buildings and installations were perfectly placed so that there were two easily defensible supply depots during an ambush, and Bravo was on this AMAZING cliff-face tucked up against a tower....
CCP, all I want for Christmas this year is for you to put classic Manus Peak back into the rotation. I would request that you let us play in in "Codex mode", but that would be asking a bit much. Please.... just let me play on my sweet, sweet classic Manus Peak map.... one last time..... for old times sake? |

Honestly, the only reason for even removing it was the issue with tanks and snipers on the mountains, but we have that in EVERY map.
The solution is providing more of the battleground to fight on, though it would be nice to have a few maps that weren't bowls. |

You know, I've been wondering for a while if I imagined the map, thank **** I didn't.
It's a damn shame it's not like it was, I had some of my best fights there, some of the most intense trying to push up the damn hill, watching the Infantry push up that trench whilst tanks rolled in on the road, was good fun.

Same company different studios, one has near perfected the player feedback process, the other is still rolling on the floor after it fell over its first baby step. |

Yea I miss that map. Some open terrain made a long flank to get back in the action though. Objs were in good positions overall and fighting into them/defending was challenging fun. Thanks for the reminder I barley noticed its absence after all this time/grind. |

I miss the old manus peak map, it was so epic to be part of the force breaking through the 1st line of defence in order to capture objective A and get a good position to take objective B... I had so many great tank battles there. |
