In the new devblog the new overhauled battle finder has an Other Contracts sections that says in exceptional circumstances some special contracts would appear there.
Curious.
Anyone have any ideas what these special contracts would/could be? |

I was thinking it could be test servers much like EVE has SiSi. They use to test balance and new items. Just my thoughts. If it not that then it's going to be events like The battle for Caldari Prime. Just my 2 guesses. |

Special contracts are probably meant for live events and such, to segregate them from regular contracts. |

CCP have snuck in gammodes before
a looooooong time ago they put in 3 skirmish varients and in January they snuck in domination so don't give up hope :D |

You'd prefer checking that button every few days, just in case? If the program knows that a UI control will never return results, then it should be disabled.
It's unquestionably bad UI design.
The client should send a query each time you login:
1. Hey, are there any special events going on?
2. Hey, does this character's corp have any PC districts?
If the response is no, then the relevant control should be disabled. |
