Smacking guy with back of pistol does more damage than small rocket to the face?
Makes sense.
Vehicle optics with all manner of power and functions backing them dont see infantry, but tiny infantry suits can see vehicles?
Makes sense.
State-of-the-art missile turrets mounted on a hardened platform specialized for firing volleys across distance shoot fewer projectiles that do less damage and aren't capable of lock on, in contrast to a handheld and cheap variant that gives better performance over significantly greater range... Both made by the same Caldari State?
Makes alot of sense.
Beam of light has recoil?
Makes sense.
Beam of light has less range than plasma bolt?
Makes just as much sense.
Hand-grenade does more damage than strike fired from an orbiting spaceship?
Makes sense.
Heavily armored suit with minigun checks behind him at the same speed as stripped-down light frame with a pistol?
I think that makes sense.

I see this type of line often, which is confusing because, even if games are way out there in terms of technologies they still seem to strive to be more and more realistc.
At least I haven't seen a recent shooter with cartoonish graphics and ridiculous weapons that fire nukes with every shot. Actually sounds like that might be fun though... |
