Who Are We?
A collection of gamers from various clans from games such as Resistance 2 & 3, Killzone 2 & 3, SOCOM series, Warhawk, and MAG, now joined under one flag as GÇ£The Sound of FreedomGÇ¥ in EVE/Dust514. We are a semi-competitive Corp that likes to have fun first and foremost. When the need arises we will game plan and take a more serious approach.
Plans for Dust514
We are looking to be involved with planetary conquest and holding districts for ourselves. That being said our main focus will be as GÇ£true mercenariesGÇ¥. Our services will go out to the highest bidder to either attack or defend districts (as long as they donGÇÖt interfere with our own agenda). Through our Alliance we have significant EVE backing with pilots online at least 12 hours a day, which will be very important when null sec is finally open.
Type of Merc We Want
We are currently looking to expand our roster to become a larger, well rounded fighting force. We are looking for skilled mercs to help us achieve our goals. Having exceptional GÇ£gun gameGÇ¥ is important, but more than that we are looking for mercs that are intelligent, trustworthy, and able to mesh well with our existing members. We need people that can not only follow the game plan set by the squad leaders, but are smart enough to improvise and adapt when plans go awry.
Recruiting Requirements
The following are the requirements/traits that all prospective mercs must have to be considered for entry into The Sound Of Freedom:
1. You must have a mic. Communication is the key to victory. Without a mic you will not be able to relay key info to other team members during the heat of battle.
2. You must be 21 years of age or be able to handle yourself maturely over coms. Most of our members are older mature players so topics of discussion during some of our chats may not be suitable for younger players.
3. You must be LOYAL!!!! Without loyalty, any Corp will implode. In the harsh world of New Eden you have to be able to trust the people you go to battle with. If you can't be trusted then you might as well be a Red Dot.
4. You must be willing to put the TEAM FIRST before any personal desires. During Planetary Conquest and Faction Warfare, everyone will have there role to play in the battle plan. If you stray from that you jeopardize the success of the TEAM.
5. You MUST have a thick skin and know how to have FUN! We like to joke around and give each other a hard time so if you are easily offended then this might not be the group for you.
