This is a quote I pulled from the Eve-O Dust forum:
handige harrie wrote:CCP says: You're a Merc and your economic damage matters because it's all about the money, money, money and power. Reality: Fighting battles in Dust you have no idea of the amount of isk damage you do to the other team. It isn't mentioned anywhere. The only stats that are tracked are the standard FPS stuff; kdr, damage, kills, deaths.
Actually, this makes a lot of sense when thinking about it. There is a measurable economic loss when killing a player. Isn't it possible to show this in battle, or at the very least, at the end of action report? I would absolutely LOVE to know how much isk I cost someone when my militia-fit, free starter kit utterly destroyed his proto taxi and proto suit. If its not possible during battle, then an after action Economic Loss tab would be FANTASTIC!
Show us the individual totals leading up to the total Economic Losses Done.
It would be awesome to say "Oh, I destroyed 10 mil isk this fight." |

Vexen Arc wrote:I would also like to see a line that showed the amount of ISK the battle cost me from fits lost. This is helpful when, say, although I die a few times, I'm picked up by my LogiBros, so don't end up losing a suit, and want to know my total net gain (or loss).
Being able to set certain fits to automatically restock at the end of every match would be a great addition as well. Your first point about showing what you lost I think would be a harder "sell," since it may discourage people if they sucked really bad lol. I guess, but then again, it could empower someone to do better the next time. I think it's better for someone's epeen if they know how much they wrecked someone else's wallet rather than know how their own wallet was wrecked.
I wouldn't have a problem either way, since often in Eve we figure out who won "the isk war" over actual wins and losses. Besides, it'd be a great metric for someone who maybe doesn't get a lot of kills but utterly destroys the enemy's isk (like someone specializing in AV).
The second point you made was great, too. It's nice to "interact" with the market after nearly every battle, but it'd be nice to have it auto-restock, or at the very least, have an option that'd bring the total amount of the suit up to X. By this I mean that if I have items that are shared with many fits, I just want an option to purchase whatever's missing, instead of restocking the whole suit or restocking the individual items. If I run out of the dropsuit and weapon, say, but I have plenty of damage mods, then just give me an option to purchase what's missing.

0.02 ISK Cross It doesn't seem like it'd be terribly complicated to implement, if there's some stored cache data on your fitting's cost. Since it's really not possible to generate a killmail for each kill, then at least a total of isk lost would be great!
