I understand the idea of DUST 514s approach to "making" different maps for us to play on, using different sockets that are changeable and create different battlefields, but something bugs me.
Line Harvest.
All the other maps sockets change and actually effect the battlefield to some extent, yet Line Harvest stays the same, the same little flat top in the center of a long road, the two same warehouses and those 6 towers, they're always there. CCP when are they going to have something different?

Honestly I would prefer if it didnt In line harvest and in the large installations you can see the benefits actually sitting down and working on something for a good long while to make a decent map thats fun to play on since they have various little nooks and crannies and defensive and assault points to push at Whereas the smaller installation sockets and the maps that randomize them more its just kind of "Eh, ok heres a bunch of stuff thats overexposed/offers to much cover/has a terrible flow/ etc etc |

So the most likely change we're going to see happening to Line Harvest is it's removal at some point.

the sockets at the north and south ends change, the middle stays the same. I'm fine with that, but would prefer that the objective assets change, such as a group of buildings instead of the odd hanger building, just to change them up. |

Yeah the much older maps are highly subject to either removal or remodeling. So ashlands, line harvest, biomass and comms. |
