Large and small, they're horrible for killing infantry.

imo larges are fine (ill happly take more aoe tho) its just really damn hard to directally hit your target if they are higher than you What i really want to see are 'cruise' missiles that serve more of a bombardment purpose and fire in a high arc
all i know is missiles are quite horrible next to other large turrets, they dont have the anti dropsuit power of the blaster (also not the av but thats an issue with blasters not missiles) and they dont have the range next to railguns. Missiles only benefit sofar is being explosive (in a game with mainly gunlogis) and they deal some splash damage in a attempt to hit the guys hiding behind a box |

I imagine with that many likes you were around for the MPT first beta? Missile Turrets were essentially broken beyond repair and were INCREDIBLY powerful. They were nerfed to what we have today and i've seen or heard nothing about em since. That means it NEEDS a buff!
My reasoning is this: If someone ain't complaining about it on the forums, it's underpowered. Because people only complain about what kills them. |

God I miss sniping from a Dropship with those old missiles.. Sit at the back of the map with a XT Accelerated Missile Turret, fire at black dots across the map and end the game with 60/0.

Oh god those dropships on the towers with small missile turrets.. never again
But idk much about large missile turrets back then, didnt see very much of them it was mainly bpo tanks with there regular weapons |

Honestly I'd be fine with Missile turrets in their current incarnation if they just severely reduced the ridiculous momentum that came with using them in a moving vehicle. Right now their aim becomes severely unstable when used in that instance. |
